It wasn't a Racial Thing...Really

this has been on my mind for a while, and not really jw related, but i wanted to share anyhow.. back in 5th grade (oh so many years ago, right at about 30 years, close to that) anyhow...i had a friend named alvin.

alvin was black...that never seemed to be an issue for us.

however, one day in late spring, alvin and i were walking home together.

Is There Something You Want To Get Off of Your Chest or Vent About???

one of the great things that this board offers is the ability to express yourself.

sometimes, things we couldn't tell a person to their face, we can express here.

or we might be able to give of ourselves, our experiences, our joys and frustrations......you name it!.......regarding my vent, it is that i can't understand why some post on these boards and yet are very pro witness.

the national alliance for the mentally ill website defines mental illness as: mental illnesses are disorders of the brain that disrupt a person's thinking, feeling, moods, and ability to relate to others.

they further define schizophrenia as:schizophrenia is a brain disorder that interferes with a persons ability to think clearly, manage emotions, make decisions, and relate to others.

many people with schizophrenia have hallucinations and delusions, meaning they hear and see things that arent there and believe things that are not real or true.. doesn't this sound like some of the "faith"ful?
