It's not so bad Bradley.
I am leaving too, though. But only for a few hours. To go to the other room. I'll miss you all.
maybe i am way out of line with the comments i am about to make, and i may offend some people, this is not my intention ............ but why do members of this board make a big deal that they are leaving the board ???.
i just don't get it, are we all here, like a big circle of friends, would you tell your immediate circle of friends you won't see them anymore because you have no time ???.
you do not have to post everyday or every week here, i take a break sometimes because yeah i don't have the time to post or start a topic, so, but it irks me when people say their life is too busy, or they have others thing to do and will not be posting here anymore.

i recently watched bowling for columbine and came away with the impression that michael moore is saying that americans are always shooting themselves because they are paranoid to the hilt.. i cant figure it out!
why are americans always going postal on themselves?
Hmmm...it seems my post disappeared. If it appears later, I apologize for the double post. If not, here is the rest of it:
I haven’t seen Bowling For Columbine in its entirety yet but, whether or not Michael Moore was able to indicate the cause(s) of America’s gun problem, it is important that people realize that there is a serious problem and that further research must be done. If his film informed just one person, it is worth it. Film is art and, whether or not it is entirely accurate, the purpose is to inspire and motivate people to new ideas and new behaviors.
I consider myself a socially conscious person, but I live in the suburbs and I do not see guns on a daily basis. I have only seen a real gun a few times in my life and it is easy for me (and probably many others) to forget that there are people who see guns everyday and live with the fear of themselves or someone they love being shot. I believe that this film has given people, such as myself, a more balanced idea of the gun situation in America and saved some from ignorance.
He didn’t present it as a scientific study, it was presented as film and it did everything a good film should do.

as a jw we asked god, in prayers, for his holy spirit to understand things better and be a better teacher of the good news.
did you ever feel god's holy spirit give you strength or understanding?
Honestly, no. I couldn't even delude myself into believing so.
science evolution weirdos
had a talk yesterday with my son, ive read a book where the guy was talking about the australopithecus its weird how scientists are dealing with evolution statements.
it says that actually the australopithecus was less intelligent
Rem,
I thought about that when I read the first post in this thread. It seems many people, although they aren't familiar with Lamark, still imagine evolution the way that Lamark did. Unfortunately, it is impossible to appreciate evolution for what it is without getting the cause and effect of it in the right order.

just in case the pic doesn't show up, here's the yahoo slide-show link: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/030822/170/51nqz.html&e=11.
check out steve bezos' face...he looks like a kid in a sweet shop!
those wannabee B-cups of hers wouldn't bounce in an earthquake.
LOL! She doesn't really need a bra, does she?
I, on the other hand, need an over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder.
of all the neurotic and irrational ideas religion has come up with, the notion that god(s) intervenes in the flow of natural events due to a human's prayer has got to be one of the craziest.
let us illustrate the lunacy of the situation.
you have, in your possession, a serum that will either cure the child or at least lessen his pain.
Petitionary prayer is useless...yesterday I prayed to have Bradley, toga-clad, in my living room for a deep discussion of epistemology and I did not get it.
Perhaps it is just that I lack faith!
*Feigns faith, gathers her toga in her hands and runs to the living room to wait for Bradley*
