What Do You Think About "Jehovah's" Organization?
by minimus inas witnesses, you are constantly bombarded with the expression,"jehovah's organization".... if we don't believe in jehovah's organization, we are doomed.
we must put faith in jehovah's organization.
jehovah's organization is the modern day "ark of survival"........these types of expressions have been drilled in the heads of jehovah's witnesses for decades.

It was never Jehovah's organization and never will be. It's a manmade corporation that sells books to help fund its pathetic belief system.

Do You Still Not Do Things That A JW Wouldn't Do?

Celebrating Halloween is definitely a personal choice, I just never liked all the spooky stuff associated with it. When I married, my hubby still celebrated it with his son, and I calmly said I didn't. It wasn't a big deal, no one got upset, however, like you said undercover, it's definitely a personal and/or family decision.

I am so spoiled stinking rotten, I probably couldn't live without electricity very long. I do know that my grandmother couldn't live without it at all, since she's hooked up to oxygen 24/7 due to her emphesyma.

Gas prices definitely vary here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I paid $1.59 the other night, but other places it's a few cents cheaper, more in other places. I think here it depends on which intersection you're located.

How many congs were you in
by hippikon ini'm a little interested in the mobility of jw's.
they were all unique in how they applied the talmud watchtower law.
i explained that to myself as diferent congs have diferent personalities but as i saw more and more "bad stuff" can to understand there was no "god" in "gods organisation" .

Does the splitting of a congregation count as one or two? Well, it doesn't really matter, because as the previous post said, one is too many!

I still don't do Halloween, which is my own personal decision not to do. However, I celebrate most holidays and enjoy celebrating my birthday immensely.

Since I will not answer the obvious answer, perhaps the reason is plain and simple: anything that evil has got to stink!

Definitely have never seen a Broadway show, but have seen plenty of London productions and productions in the Dallas area. I got to see Richard Burton in Camelot a few years before he died, I saw Barry Williams do the Music Man in 1997 (didn't know Greg Brady could so sing so well). However one of my favorites remains a 1977 production of The Unsinkable Molly Brown, with Debbie Reynolds and Harve Presnall. What a great show!
