It happened recently here at my old Kingdom Hall. From what I understand, it went from 80's beige to "Thoroughly Modern KH."

Were You Successful In The Ministry?
by minimus ini know of very few people that helped bring people in the "truth".
even those who concentrated on their own families usually realize that their children do not want the "truth".
most publishers were disorganized with regard to their return visits and house-to-house records.

I noticed that quote is from a 1953 Watchtower. All I can say, how depressing...makes you want to give up chocolate - lol.

Bob Eubanks is now 67, I don't think he will be hosting any more game shows. Actually, he's in demand as a corporate speaker, I guess the motivational kind. He was recently interviewed on www.tvgameshows.net. And he has his own website: www.bobeubanks.com

Silentlambs to be Interviewed by CBS Evening News
by blondie inweekend and especially pay attention to the announcements.
also watch the end of.
"60 minutes" as there may be a special announcement there also.. .

CBS (60 minutes specifically) did a story on a custody battle several years ago exposing the Watchtower to all its legalese (pardon spelling) and what non JW spouses go against when the family splits. I am looking forward to seeing the Silent Lambs segment!

Who's voice would you really like to have?
by Latte in.
if you had the chance to 'come back' as a different person, who's voice would you most like to have?
for me it would have to be either linda ronstadt or barbra streisand, failing that... shakira.

Must we have the voice of the same sex? If not, I want Sean Connery's voice. Just not his bald head.

What did you do to keep yourself amused at the KH?
by be wise inwhen i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].
he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.
i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

Definitely daydreaming....it's a wonderful way to escape for a while. And if you're at the Kingdom Hall, there are few escape routes to take.
