The story in my head is horribly methodical. I am trying to write this story in sync and trying to incorporate JWisms that we all put up with in the Watchtower. Like the pointing out which home to live in after Armagaddon during field service...I can't write this story any other way. But hey, I already have them at first base and making out in the parking lot at the KH...

I'll try to write snippets once or twice a day...

Lost in the realm of David’s world, Hilary passionately kissed David. All those feelings that had been stirring in her for weeks were true. Hilary had thought of many vignettes of if and when David would finally make his move. Perhaps at the back of a movie theater, at the front door of her parents’ house…. but certainly not in the parking lot of her congregation. Finally David released his lips and just gazed into Hilary’s eyes… “We’ve got to stop”, Hilary said, and she quickly gained her composure. “Someone may see us…” They both looked intently around the parking lot to see if any brother or sister gawker could be about. There were several automobiles in the parking lot, but the only two people in the parking lot were them. “David, we’ve gotten to know each other these past few weeks in service and I want to get to know better, but I can’t make out at the Kingdom Hall.” David smiled “Hilary, you think that’s how I am going to get to know you better?” She smiled and said, “Well, you could ask me out…” David then whispered, “how about dinner Friday night…my brother and his girlfriend can come to dinner and then we can break off from there…” Hilary thought, “Well that’s sort of a group date.” She hoped it would be OK with you know who…Daddy Elder

Hilary and David worked out in service whenever possible. Their ensemble laughs, smiles, they were in their own world, oblivious to everything. Everyone else in the car group was pointing out which mansion they would live in after Armageddon.

David wanted to get to know Hilary without all the stares of every pioneer and retired elder around them. One day after service, David took Hilary by the hand and directed her over to his car in the parking lot at the Kingdom Hall. Hilary leaned against the outside of his car as he held her hand gently. He brushed her hair out of her face and she smiled and dazed into his eyes. Those butterflies in her stomach were soaring about and Hilary looked down at David’s hands as he was stroking her hand and noticed… “Oh my God, he’s got a huge lump in his pants…I did that to him….I knew it, and he hasn’t even kissed me yet…” Before she could think any more scenarios of where he might first plant his lips on her he grabbed her close up to him and kissed Hilary on her lips. “Hilary, I’ve been wanting to do that since I saw you at the convention. Hilary dropped her book bag on to the ground and put both hands around David. Another long romantic kiss happened and David said, “When am I going to get to know you…” Hilary answered… “From now on…”

Thanks for clearing up another false rumor. (Ever heard the one about Glen Campbell being a JW?) Yea, that's it..."I'm a lineman for the county...and I go door-to-door."

I think 99.99% of the rumors I heard in the WT were wrong. I remember hearing about that actor from "Pretty in Pink" - Jon Cryer. I heard he was studying with a fellow from Bethel. That was in the late 80's and since I left 10 years ago, my JW urban legend memory has ceased to exist.

About John Denver: What an absolute talent. I love his music also. His 2 greatest hits CD's are in my car and I play them from time to time. I am sorry he died also. He was in Fort Worth two weeks before he died in October 1997 and I wished I had gone to see him...

in a few days, i will be making my move from kansas to florida!!

i'm really anxious about the whole thing.

i've never lived anywhere but kansas so this whole is unreal for me.

Have a great time. I want to go on a road trip and look for any Stuckey's that still may exist. I loved those stores when I was a kid.
