My vague memories of the KH weddings were that they were nothing special, it was meant to be that way. Very little fanfare, most weddings people went down the aisle to a song I can't remember, something about pearls and weddings, at the front there may have been a "modest" flower arrangement and the bridal party. I remember invitations being put on the bulletin board, I guess Jehovah changed his mind on that too.

Budweiser no longer "American" beer
by RubaDub inwho would have thought that anheiser busch would be sold to another country !!!.
all i can say is, if inbev (the company that is buying anheiser busch) starts slipping its tasty stella artois beer into bud bottles, i'll start drinking bud and love every sip.. rub a dub.

My 10th wedding anniversary is tomorrow, July 14, 1998. We married in Jamaica - we're going to South Dakota at the end of the week for a week's stay 10 miles from Mount Rushmore - it's on my bucket list!

Also the one where the little girl fell thru the wall and into another dimension. I slept on the floor for a week after that!

Almost 25 years after her death, I see a thread about Carpenters music! What a splendid voice she had. And brother Richard, he's now 60 and performs with his children every year at the Carpenters Center in Long Beach.
We've Only Just Begun is awesome, but I think Superstar is haunting.I miss Karen Carpenter!
Did you know their drummer was Cubby O'Brien from Mouseketeers fame?

Does your boss have a right to call you on vacation?
by TresHappy intwo weeks ago, i went on a family vacation.
there was a voice mail on my cell phone from my boss.
i didn't respond to it.

It was simply paperwork; any person in my capacity at my organization could have done it.
He took the easy way out. He does not have a right to call me on my vacation, period.
He is obsessed with his work because he's so disorganized. I have offered to help him in his office and get him organized but to no avail.
He has this mentality of don't throw anything away. Consequently his office looks like crap. He's not a bad guy, pretty nice...just anal retentive and weird. He's 55 and never been married. He's married to the job.
He has the leadership abilities of a caboose!
