you found out about ttatt way back in the 70's or maybe the 80's (basically before the internet) and you thought that you were all alone in this knowledge?

I use to go to the library and use the reference library to find articles about "the Cross" and other items . purchased books from a church book store, the 1st one was "30 years a watchtower slave" and another book was by a writer named Martin. They were the way then to find out about the T., but I knew that were off because of the 1914 belief, and I use to say, all I have to do is just wait till say 2000 and this will be proved wrong and it will fall apart. They really held strong to this belief and I was sure if this proved wrong, it would be the end of them. wrong.

Circuit ASSembly low-lites

so in an effort to relieve some pressure here are what i term the low-lites of yesterday's assembly that i had to endure for the sake of family still in and my progressing fade.

apologies in advance for being pretty long winded.. these may not all be the actual words used, but the ones i use are close, and they pretty well say what was said from the platform.. right off the bat in the opening prayer the praises of the governing body were spoken.

i am of the opinion that the wt doctrine is influenced more by external factors that it is by internal ones.

one of the doctrines that has puzzled me for some time is the armageddon prediction of 1975. why would the wts make this prediction?

what was their real purpose?.

it is filled with statements on the importance of "being watchful" for the beginning of the "great tribulation".

paragraph 2: “keep looking, keep awake, for you do not know when the appointed time is.”after that, jesus admonished them repeatedly: “keep on the watch.”.

one story involves the making of a golden calf by aaron and the other is about the golden calves that were set up at bethel and i think dan.

Visit From Jehovah's Witnesses

had two lovely jws (stephen and ruth) visit this morning.

this was our second study in the last 2 weeks.

they first knocked on my door (bell is out) 3 weeks ago and i shared my testimony and we arranged to meet last tuesday which we did.. our first study went like this:.
