Iv seen a family that raise their hands when singing and the mother pretends to be conducting a music concert. They are so loud also, quite annoying. Shaking their heads up and down agreeing to all said on the stage. Im ready to start hearing a few amens shortly.

by _Morpheus inhad the misfortune of stopping by the "regional" convention yesterday.
i promised my daughter i would come to sunday afternoon so she wouldnt have to ride home with her mother.... holy crap it was weird!
im sure all of this has been covered on the forum but to actually see it.... just wow.

I predict that soon the GB will start promoting Having a Choir in the front to lead in the awful singing currently. Just another adoption of their neimesis Christendom,s ideas to numb the masses into submission thru music. They already have a choir online trying to compete with the Mormon Tabernacle choir.

we have a laid off bethelite with an engineering degree!
by nowwhat? inthis guy have been at bethel for 25 years when he could have been making 75-100 thousand a year as an engineer.
so they kick him to the curb so they don't have to house him and his wife anymore.
they run into a problem at warwick and they ask him to come back for 3 weeks.

chasing me for a report
by Phoebe ini'm fairly new on here and i've told a lot of my story but to recap, after 60 odd years i've stopped going to the meetings.
my husband had already left the truth years ago and my children didn't become jws.(phew!).
i had a horrendous childhood growing up as a witness which included sexual assault by a close relative, also a jw.

For one thing, his part showed that there are 3 to 4 million empty seats every week at all kingdumb halls(Yea!). So they are merging even more Congregations (to hide the loss in membership)! Gives more reason for more to fade.

I worked for the circus back in the 70,s just staying alive till 75, haha. I had to shovel elephant turds from the 3 ring circus and rush in and pick them up with a shovel, they were quite hard. On the same show I was to bring one camel and other guys had 4 more. My camel was way towering over me and as we waited for our turn to bring the camel to the ring, my camel started BRRRrring and dribbling from his lips looking at the camel in front of him. After a couple minutes, he was getting so restless that he jumped on the camel in front and a melee started. All the camels trotted wildly into the circus and trying to jump each other. I let mine go and just chased them around. The croud was laughing and enjoying the wild camel hump show. The y all ran out and escaped the perimeter and ran away. Police had to be called to locate them, needless to say were were all fired for not hanging on. This was in Central Texas town that most people have heard of, college town.
