  I have a dumb question re: publishing corp...

  many of you refer to wts as a rich publishing corp. since the mags they pass out are free i don't understand how they make money from them?

  My point is, we have responsibility with this life to make the world a better a place for all who inhabit today and in the future. We have inherited this beautiful planet and our lives for a brief time only. What we do wth our time here is telling. Wishing, waiting for the world to end is by nature deluded thinking and hopefully not a self-fullfilling prophecy because we certainly possess the means to do it. And it seems countless people are OK with this.

  Julia Orwell: thanks for the insight. When I read the internal struggles/guilt so many of you went through I'm reminded I don't fully get it and I'm shocked at how tough being a JW can really be. Glad you're free and doing better.

  come to think of it ... I stayed with a grown man who was scared to leave the house on Halloween for fear of demons getting him.... I think i need a better checklist

  Sorry but JWs don't get to have sole domain on this one - lol. Dating is just hard period and I think everyone has silly checklists of some sort or the other. As you said, try to just take it as it comes and I bet you do great! Good luck.

  walking down memory lane today and recalled a convo with my ex about noah's ark.

  (i made all the rookie mistakes when talking to my ex about jw stuff -sigh.

  ) i think i said something like 'if you believe in noah's ark take the cat and a mouse from the backyard for a drive around the block and let me know how it goes.
