  many thanks to stephanus for getting this started and all the hard work putting together the 'whos who' site.. i've added an additional box to the profile page where you can enter a short biography (plain text - no formatting yet).

  this is displayed when people click on your profile link (the 'membership card' icon under you poster name).

  i will add a link to the member listing page to indicate people who have biographies with a link to display them.. let me know if you have any problems.

  I actually chose the JW's. Gr-r-r-r-. Grew up looking for spiritual answers. JW answers to biblical questions made sense and I trusted my best friend (a JW). Wrong thing to do on both counts. Live and learn as they say but this was an expensive lesson.

  this is my first post and i must say that i have been lurking here from time to time and have been impressed with the content.

  back in college i visited the old h2o site many times and this is definitely superior.

  thanks to all for the rich content i've been enjoying.. my great mother was a witness making me a fourth generation.

  Teejay: I agree and I see your point. (((hug))) We owe so much to RF that could never possibly be repaid but....

  I'm no longer a Witness and the weird positions of the WTS have zero influence or meaning in my life. I couldn't care less what they do anymore. I think Ray is the same.

  With all due respect, you must understand the feelings of anger and helplessness of "Avengers" and "sf" (myself included). With family and friends still in the chains of the WTS, one gets very desperate as to what to do. To sit back and do nothing is crazy. We'd love to see the Borg tumble in bits and pieces but it's an overwhelming task. Take it apart brick by brick? Where do you start? We need all the help we can get. That's the frustration. It would be easy to walk away and get on with your life. Forget your past. It's done ... capu-u-u-t. But what of the others? If you love them, you can't leave them or forget them! No matter how hard you try, you can't shake off the feeling that you have to do something ... anything. That's the reason I'm on this board. I'm no great scholar but I'm willing to offer my support anywhere, anytime, if it will help.

  What RF chooses to do is, of course, his own business. He's already given a great deal and helped so many. But there are plenty posting on this board that care about what the Borg does and the influence it has on the lives of their loved ones.

  Our 1st Tree

  i bought a tiny christmas tree today.

  it's of rosemary, and smells heavenly.

  i bought some small ornaments, and put them on it, and when my husband came home today, i surprised him with it.

  Enjoy that tree. Rosemary, huh? It must smell wonderful. This is my first tree in 11 years. All the girls and my Mom have been giving me ornaments. One friend at work is married to a minister. She gave me a Lenox cream and gold trimmed china cross for the tree. The others are giving me Christmas Mice decorations because that is what I used to collect and am now starting all over.

  The Christmas cards are amazing. Thanks everyone. {{{}}} They are from everywhere around the world...and I do mean everywhere. It's just amazing. It really made my Christmas.

  while i have read posts on here and other boards i would like to know more facts on this subject.

  to date this is what i know and i would appreciate knowing more.. 1. rusell often spoke in free mason temples.

  Larc: While on my 4-day madder than H--- rant and rave binge (a/k/a the day I found out the truth about the Borg), I visited books store, libraries, Internet, etc. I found these books in the bookstore. I didn't particularly want to purchase them so I don't have them available to verify their references. I made notes. The books I'm sure are still available for verification. "Rules of Secrecy" mentioned the Pyramid of Manipulation, Sacred Secret, Golden Age and Great Pyramid. (sound familiar?) "And the Truth Shall Set you Free" mentioned the Alcyone star and oaths that the Masons take to the Gods Jah, Baal and Osiris. "Biggest Secret" was the book that spoke directly of the Watchtower and Russell as a Mason, as well as Russell's friendship with the Rothschilds also Masons. It mentioned the similarity of the 33 degrees of Masons and the UN symbol having 33 sections. Suggests Masons are involved in very high places all over the world incorporating Pyramid of Manipulation tactics which includes the New World Order. Very strange and scary book. Was just wondering whether author Icke was out in left field somewhere.

  We Set Up The Tree

  although we've been inactive for a couple of years now this is the first christmas we've celebrated.

  while we know we may get dfed for putting one up we really don't care.. today while decorating the tree my wife is the happiest i've seen her in years.

  she's singing downstairs and you just can't wipe that grin off her face.

  Hi, LB: This is my first Xmas in 11 years. I had the tree bought and decorated by Thanksgiving. I bought my mother 11 gifts; one for every Xmas I missed with her. She's in shell shock. It's almost like my very first Xmas. I can relate to the smile thing!
