  Dance lessons for the post KH world

  if you're like me, you're upbringing didn't include much normal socialization, and you often find yourself a wallflower among a colorful explosion of "normal", "worldly" poeple, dancing and having fun at parties.

  we simply never learned to dance.. these dance lessons, "how to dance properly" have made such a difference in my life.

  it's hard to be bitter when you're "riding the pony" or, "stirring the pot of love".. dance, and fly free my fellow butterflys.

  Who watched the Jackson Interview ?

  i am sitting here watching this shocking interview.

  the reporter spent 8 months with this um, person.

  i cannot believe how bizarre mr. jackson is.... and it has given me the willies.

  Well said Callgirl. Michael Jackson is an extremely talented and creative individual He is no dummy and never think for a moment that he is. He is as sharp as a tack when it comes to his business management. He also is a very gentle soul. For all of that, you must respect him. He is indeed a man-child and that's just something society simply can't relate to or understand.

  In the past, I had heard stories about his abusive family upbringing. Those stories appear to be true. Given his gentle nature, it is understandable the effect that his upbringing had on his emotional well-being. Children in danger? I don't think so. I'm not a psychiatrist but I would imagine that surrounding himself with children (whom he obviously loves) represents all the childhood friends and activities he never had growing up. You and I had friends, ballgames, dances, movies, etc. He didn't. I can't even begin to imagine what that was like. However, he now has $$$ and can create his own little world (since he can't go out in public without a hassle) and recreate the childhood that he missed so much. It's too bad he can't be left in peace and has to justify everything...in public no less.

  Weird acting; wierd looking; a barrel full of emotional problems....no doubt about it.

  But then again, look at some of us.

  i have more than 40 years of life experience on this planet.

  i have been through a lot in life..i have lived in number of countries , visited many others.

  an inactive friend just spoke to some elders who, not from the platform but one-on-one, said they believe the coming war with iraq will cause world war iii and armageddon.

  has anyone else heard this?

  it may be that some are using this as a tactic to scare inactives back into the watchtower society along with their needed donations, especially since the pedophile and wts-u.n. scandals.

  it looks like the congregation that was victimized by this jw elder (raymond l. knowles) could have been from my old congregation, lauderdale lakes, .

  This is was in today's Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel newspaper. It looks like the congregation that was victimized by this JW Elder (Raymond L. Knowles) could have been from my old congregation, Lauderdale Lakes, as one of the victims is from Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. The articles references not only the Knowles incident but also scams committed by Greater Ministries International Church, Baptist Foundation of Arizona, and Christian Science Church.

  Well, I'm not much of a football fan and I turned it on at the end of the first half.

  At half, I knew it was over. Tampa would have had to play dead and maybe (just maybe) Oakland would have won. Wasn't gonna happen. Although Oakland put up a valiant effort at the end....too little, too late.
