  Well, Trot's a 40. In the same pile with:

  Ashtika, joannadandy, puppylove, Dutchie, Meme, L_A_Big_DAWB, FRUSTR8TD, New Way, obiwan, and Imbue.

  31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

  For me? This is spot on and NO....the Watchtower didn't make me this way. I was that way going in and probably all of the above were, too. My guess is that this group named above is HURTING pretty bad from the Watchtower experience. I think most could figure out my feelings toward my "friend" of 26 years that I left behind who sloughed me off in 10 mins in favor of WT loyalty.

  it was one year ago today, that i mailed my disassociation letter.

  i had postponed my da'ng to spend months (many sleepless) gathering research to help "rescue" my jw friend of 26 years.

  i called her finally on june 30. turns out, she could have cared less.

  ANYONE OWN A WATCH DOG? I NEED ONE

  does anyone own a watch dog, paticularly a doberman pinscher?

  some on this board know i love animals and i lost my bingo cat last year.

  i really loved him to death but i have to admit that when it came to giving affection...forget it.

  Patriot/Mav: Gotcha. I know where you're coming from. A Dobie just may be too darn much for me to handle though and I really don't need a lawsuit. Appreciate your advice. Read your web sites re K9. Found the "alpha" material very interesting. Was not aware of "alpha positioning". Can a cat try to be the "alpha" or is this just a dog kind of thing?

  Most Frightening Door to Door Experience

  in my hometown, this other witness and i were.

  going from door to door one day when we reached one particular house.. the householder became so agitated by the presence of jws.

  that he "sicked" his dog on us, but thank god it had a muzzle.

  • One day I approached a door with a sister. When there was no answer, we turned around to leave, got half way down their sidewalk, the householder opened the door and a big black labrador retriever flew out the door at us. The sister I was with was scared to death of dogs but she was in front (making me behind), I just turned around and faced the dog with a "Well, aren't you a nice dog" in a cooing voice and started petting him. His tail started wagging, I looked up at the householder standing at the door (very embarrassed) and said "Hi, We're Jehovah's Witnesses blah-blah-blah......sure you wouldn't want to read this magazine?". By this time, he's blustering all over the place. The sister's ready to pass out!
  • I had the sprinkler's turned on me once going to Service meeting.
  • I had a naked man trying to hide behind a glass door.
  • I had a man scream and holler "YOU RUINED MY SISTER'S LIFE" (Now I can understand why!)

  Oh the joys of pounding the pavement earning your way to Paradise Earth!!!

  Chi: I love those teacups. There's a couple in Palm Beach I think that raise them. They have several different breeds. There was an article in the newspaper a few ago with pictures. They were so-o-o-o-o cute. They had teacup Yorkies also. So cute.

  Thanks Double Edge and Mayer32: It's 1:10 a.m. on July 1 so its OFFICIAL....July 1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.....Yippee!!!!!!!! 56 and I earned every darn year.

  Nancee: Thanks for the research. I've saved it for posterity.

  Nikita: Yep...I had a great 4th last year too! In fact, I celebrated everything I could all the way through New Year's. Mom and I went out for Thanksgiving Dinner. Christmas....oh forget it. I was running all over the place buying everything in sight. Actually came down sick with a cold. It was great though.

  a blackmailer may use direct or indirect threats against us to get what they want regardless of our opinions or feelings.
