1. why is there what seems to be an eternity of empty space in your post?
2. phantom time hypothesis- Yeah, where the hell did the time go? I swear 18 was just yesterday.
a german systems analyst who asserts that the 'dark ages' did not exist.
the 300 years between 614 and 911 are an invention.we would then actually be living in the 18th century not the 21st.
prabably not true, but fun to think about and speculate on why the powers that be (catholic church) would insert 3 nonexistant centuries.

lol..., these were pix I took a couple months ago on a $.17 camera I bought from the px. those things are awesome. just takes awhile to see the results. I mailed the camera to my wife, who processed it, gave it to my pops, and he scanned it back to me. (I'm too cheap to buy a damn scanner) All these pix are in and around Tikrit. Kids were everywhere, and they all enjoy a photo op. I just hope they all stay that happy in about ten years and not turn into terrorists.
You can see alot of construction going on. One of the good things you never hear on FOX or CNN. It's cool to see that along with water and electric projects, (they just completed a huge upgrade of the power station in Baghdad-it hadn't been touched since the 1950's) individuals are taking the initiative to improve their housing situation.
I think I'm getting the hang of this...
here's some more for your viewing pleasure
just got home a couple days ago, I put some pix on this site, hope it works
one society thing that drives me crazy is trying to scare us by quoting the scripture about one who knows the truth and leaves is worse off than others who have never known the truth.. question: if every non-jw is going to die at armageddon, how can someone who leaves be worse off?
are they going to die more than the others?.
nice lips brooke
about 12 years ago I had to work with a df'd guy. He said "I don't have to worry about Armageddon, my God is a God of love, he's not going to torture me for eternity. I'm just going to sleep in the ground."
My reply- "Oh ok, that's nice."
like white on rice
yay 400
that clip was from the swimming pool, wasn't it?
that blond was hot. up until then, I didn't think it was possible to abuse myself during a murder scene in a movie
i was surprised at the number of people who popped in with running advice for vitty.
i didn't realize we had so many runners on board here.
i'm getting ready for my first triathlon next month and find myself wondering if we have any triathletes around here..... i have wanted to complete a tri ever since i ran the 1/2 marathon portion on a tri relay 1/2 ironman in 2003. i've shied away from them because the swim totally freaks me out.
Right here, before I joined the army, shortly after I left the BORG, I did about 7 or 8 triathlons. I found strenuous exercise great therapy for my exit. The longest one I did was the Hyannis Sprint I in Cape Cod, MA. 1/4 mile swim, 10 mile bike, 5 mile run. I did the Block Island Triathlon 4 consecutive years, 1/4 mile swim, 7 mile beach run, 8 mile bike. I also did a biathlon, 5 mile run, 20 mile bike in Rhode Island a few years back. I couldn't get a time on that one, though, because there was no support from police and a few people got hit by cars while on the bike portion. No joke. The race actually ended while I was on the bike portion. But there's nothing like crossing the finish line.
I did a couple marathons too, back in 98 and 99. Good stuff. One of those things, once you leave the borg, you realize that you haven't done shit in your life. Crossing the finish line of a long race quickly erases that. You get addicted though. I could go on forever.
malheureusement, oui, un americain doit les montrer un victoire.
it's funny, everyone thinks he was the greatest rider who ever lived. Everyone seems to forget Eddie Merckx - 'The Cannibal'-who won 525 races in his lifetime, the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and World Championship in one year (1974), and even won a Tour de France in all categories (yellow-overall, green-sprinter, polka-dot- climber). As great a rider as Lance was, no one will ever be BETTER THAN EDDIE.
