well i was on amazon website and did a word search under song titles and artists names.

i chose the words "watchtower" and "jehovah's witness" and you wouldnt believe all of the stuff that came up.

i will post my findings in several increments, so keep checking this thread for updates.

Ricky Rocket? I saw them in Hartford CT summer '99. That was a year after the Billy Joel debacle. Who burns down an outdoor stadium after a Billy Joel concert? People in Connecticut do.
As far as Ricky being a really 'nice guy'? I suppose after you've had any female tail under the sun, one might want to try something new. But I'm a long way away from that state of mind.

For an amateur video, it's one of, if not the best that I've seen on YOUTUBE. It had me fooled for a second. One second. But it's an interesting concept. But going with the notion that it doesn't comply with DC comics, it won't fly. Also because Robin would never outlive Batman. The comics dictate that Batman had no end. He killed Superman and rode off into the sunset.

You got a point Freyd. Had I been more into college football when I was little (and allowed to watch it) I'd appreciate your point of view more. But since I wasn't able to watch any football when I was little, and since I don't appreciate ESPN's relentless analysis, I will only care just a little bit when Doug Flutie throws the Hail Mary to Doug Phelan in the 84 Cotton Bowl. If they win after that, I'll just say 'ok, that's cool.' Thanks Jdubs.

Too over the top, gay, etc. I'm looking for the bands that made some sort of attempt at being quaint. Remember "Tears of the Dragon", by Bruce Dickinson?

i'm a fan of boston bands, (aerosmith has gone too commercial for my taste) but would love to see these guys put out another one.

i heard they got screwed over in their record deal, therefore could not continue because of the cost.

It's weird, but that's part of what turned me on to them. To see a bunch of black guys jamming away ten times better than the buttrockers of the 80's really took me back. And they had a message to boot. All I could say is 'wow'. A little lesson learned to a white boy growing up in a white rural town.

I heard they got screwed over in their record deal, therefore could not continue because of the cost. Oh well, another band just like Living Colour (remember 'Cult of Personality'?). Corey Glover was/is a great guitarist.
