  also who do you think has the coolest/funniest/weirdest name on the board?

  i choose kelpie because that is my partner's nickname for me as my initials are klp.

  I chose mine as I drive trucks for my living,the GB stands for Great Britain.I was a bit worried about the GB bit,being a non and never has been a JW,and coming to this site through a friend who was a JW,I didnt realise at the time that the GB meant something else to JWs,nobody seemed to mind though,so I left it as it was.

  Does that make sense.

  there is christmas music blaring out in every shopping centre now, it started in mid-november.

  it works a treat, reminds everyone to get spending.

  most of it is rubbish, i feel so sorry for shopworkers having to listen to that for 7 weeks.

  Hi there Fe203Girl.

  My favorite is actually a carol,Silent Night,but sung in German how it was originally,I think it sounds magical.

  I dont think I have a particular hate,although I do get pretty fed up with most Christmas songs after hearing them over and over for about 7 weeks.

  We are very fortunate & take it for granted

  we've just been watching an absolutely heart wrenching documentary on itv about a little girl with a very rare disease (progeria) which makes her age prematurely at 10 times the normal rate.

  she will be like an old woman by the time she is 10.. they have a meet-up where the little kids with the same condition can play and have fun together and seeing their poor little faces looking so happy is a wonder to behold.

  i guess it's easy to forget that inside they are still really little kids.

  one thing i find about a lot of the british !!

  !boy do they complain !!!

  about the weather,bus system,trains, etc,etc,etc, i was there last year & i really had to laugh i went through the whole day once counting "complaints" ( they were numerous) when i asked one soul "what are you doing about it?
