had a great of boogie boarding and body surfing at makena and nearby little beach in maui.
waves were ok, 1-3ft with an occasional 5-6ft face.
there was a pretty good rip current especially when venturing out to catch the bigger waves.. chatted with a nice couple who decided to try body surfing for their first time.
I had quite a lot of them.
Take care,
Rich
i have been researching the greyhound breed.
does any one have a italian greyhound or greyhound?
my application is in for a retired or rescue dog.
My Tetra neons and Golden minnows glub happily around my tropical fish tank, their wonderfully soothing to watch.

well, 2002 comes to a close and it's been a busy year.. we have had over 380,000 posts!
in them we've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated and commiserated, we've fallen out and made up and we've seen new people come and people move on.. what's to come in 2003?.
well, some changes .... the new forum is nearly ready (though i expect will never be 'finished' lol) and i think it is a good opportinity to do some things differently and make a 'fresh start'.. i have incorporated features that will allow me to give other people the chance to get involved running the site so it becomes less 'mine' and more 'ours'.
Happy new year Simon and Ang,
Thanks for all your hard work.
Take care,
Rich.

Happy new year Termite.

when i was at my sisters for christmas, i notice that she had many of my grandmothers old photos.
she had one of them reproduced for my sister laurie and myself.
i used to go through grandmas photos often and was so glad to see them again.
Hi Lilacs.
Sorry for the delay in replying, its called time zones.
The writing you can see on the bottom of the picture, says, N Grut,Guernsey, which I assume is the photographer.
Take care,
Rich.

Heres one of my grandfather from 1915,he was in the Royal flying corps in ww 1, I have his medals and squadron photos as well.
just for a bit of entertainment over christmas.... i thought that we might have some fun by posting some of our own pics for everyone to try and work out where the location is situated.
in other words, it's spot the location!.
this is an easy one.
Yep Qwerty, youve got the part of the world,Ill leave the full answer to see if anybody from over there can get it.
