If there were any elders with two brain cells to rub together, then that's what I would have suggested.
These projectors are not in every hall though, just where elders schools are being held - maybe just 1 per circuit even.

post.. talking to an elder yesterday, he stated he was going to km school next week and that it was an "emergency" km school being held all over the country and that all the circuits had to purchase projectors for the school.....but he couldn't say anything else (secret society bs)little does he know the details can be found here on jwn.. any undercover elders know what this is about?.

in part of the video mentioned above showing the "goofus" elder trying to handle the situation with the crying sister:.
the "goofus" elder went into the kingdom hall library alone with the sister when she left the auditorium.. you could hear literal, audible, gasps from the 100 or so elders watching the video.. a few moments later, as the sister was crying, "goofus" put out his hand and touched the sister's hand.. again, literal, loud, audible gasps from the audience.. they darkened the room while the video was playing so i couldn't see him, but i have to imagine the co was quite pleased that the audience grasped the "mistakes" that elder goofus was making.. .

I am quite a fan of Audrey Hepburn's work, though I know she couldn't really sing - the great Marni Nixon dubbed for her in "My Fair Lady", but I love the film and Rex Harrison's performance also.
As for stage plays, I also like Hepburn's performance in "Wait Until Dark" - would have loved to see the actual stage production where they turned the lights off for the final scene!
ps. eva luna - did you see the anti-smoking commercial with Yul Brynner? His voice is so awesome, and a really powerful advert I thought:

Just been told by a brother who heard from an elder just back from the school what the projectors are for. Apparently the GB, or at least one of them is doing a presentation of some sort. I'm not sure if this is all elders schools, but I presume so. From what I heard, it almost sounded like an actual live video-conference with the elders and a GB member - is that logistically possible with so many schools?

The End of Circuit Overseers
by scotsman inis indeed apparently nigh as another poster predicted along with the end of the weekly bs.
not sure when this should take place but i'm reliably informed by a family member that one of the uk's overseers was talking about it fairly recently.
reduced to weekend visits by an outside but local elder instead.. i have no further info..

Do you think they will ever still do this?
They are going crazy on trying to train up new replacement/temporary C.O.'s in our circuit. I know there is an even bigger lack of CO's in some places.

For people that hail themselves as shining ambassadors for God, they sure do their best to give him a bad name. If I really wanted to go out of my way to piss people off in the biggest way possible in the name of God without doing something illegal, I would probably do exactly what JWs do - knock on people's doors early New Year's day.
They are so out of touch. Do they seriously expect people to answer the door and say: "well I've got a hangover the size of Mexico, but hell yeah - let's sit down and discuss your cult!"

Can you equate Jehovah as a murderer???
by cognac inhad this long talk with hubby about the fact that if you allow your child to die because of the blood issue you are no different then a murderer.
he said then jehovah is a murderer because he allowed his son to die.
he knew what was going to happen and allowed it when he could have stopped it..... hmmmm, not sure how to wrap my brain around that.
