Such racism is not just against Jews but Muslims also.

mass immigration in the world "seems" to have led to a rise in anti -semitism in the west.
france now has more than six million muslims.. germany now has four million muslims.
the netherlands has almost one million muslims .
Such racism is not just against Jews but Muslims also.

so at the international convention 235 were baptized.
the attendance was 34k.
that's resents less than 1% its about .6%.
Don't also forget people dying, OneEyedJoe
so i heard this on another site just throwing it out there because there's been talk about it here.
i'm sorry i can't answer any questions i'm just relaying the information.. the branch is considering replacing all circuit overseers with 3 brothers per circuit to oversee needs.
24 congregations per circuit with 1 brother each assigned to 8 congregations each on a yearly rotation.
They already essentially have this in the circuit here using so many temporary C.O.'s - the actual real current C.O. has never been to the congregation here - he's doing circuit training apparently...
a yound sister was severely counciled by the elders for wearing a denim "jean skirt" to the hall last year.
she left with tears in her eyes and never returned.. for the last 50 years denim jeans have been banned at the brooklyn bethel breakfast table.. i understand denim jeans are banned even by tourists visiting beth ell.
billy explained the pants situation in past posts.. so my questions are: what other instances are there of denim bans by watchtower ?
You might also recall the instructions to international convention delgates where again denim was banned - including for all social functions and day trips. The instructions were in another post on here.
dear brothers:.
you will be pleased to know that the governing body has approved displaying the official.

since it is the convention season (and i am not attending this year or ever again), and i have been seeing other posts about some of the goings on at the various ic's and rc's, i am reminded of some of the truly embarrassing behavior i have "witnessed" (pun intended) over my lifetime of being a jdub at the various conventions and assemblies.
probably the most disillusioning experience at a convention that i have ever had was one year when i volunteered to be an attendant.
all of the volunteers were asked to attend a special meeting a few months beforehand to get instructions for our duties as attendants.
I'm in Scotland, InquiryMan. Maybe sitting in the car isn't as common in places where the climate is colder, but anyone from the UK will tell you about conventions at stadiums where people would just sit in their cars instead.
perhaps this should be in the humor /jokes section....but oh well...here goes.. (some of our more tech savy forum members may know to upload images to help out?).
so how about these ideas for jw.org merchandise?
or as some tacky gifts as handed out at the international conventions?.
JW.ORGY?

As an attendant I was always on duty on the outside concourse of the stadium, so was responsible for doing attendance counts including the car parks (people there still got added to the attendance figure)
I used be amazed at how many people just stayed in their cars and didn't go inside the stands - now I realise they were probably the smart ones (or far too accepting and volunteering to drive their spouses to the convention?)
