I know exactly how you feel about this. At this point in time, I have had only one sister leave the JWs as well, but our relationship is nonexistent. This is because of how she treated me after leaving it, and would still be if I would allow it. My relatives (including those who are not JWs) are very toxic and negative people. That I do not need, or would I ever want back in my life.

I Dont Want My JW Family To Wake Up
by pale.emperor init's come to the point now, after being out almost 5 years, that i've come too far with my life, acheived the things i wanted (or i'm on the road to), did the things i wanted to do and have reached a happy and satisfactory life.. i did all this on my own apart from exjws such as yourselves online for support.
after reaching a place where i finally dont think about wt everyday and stopped getting emotional or worked up about my former jw life i'm glad to simply live my life and let others get on with theirs.. but, if my family were to leave and get in touch i'd have to deal with all that shit again.
i'd have to deal with people who's personality i deliberately removed from my life as i was building an authentic nonjw life.. my mother would likely still be closed minded and homophobic.. my sisters would likely still live for gossip and social media stalking.. my cousins would likely still put on a pretence of wealth to impress those around them.. i really cant be doing with such people.. it sounds bad, but i really hope they stay in.

I really hope to see what happens with those criminals is that they are "raptured", only to be found while attempting their escape".

...NAH I can't say that with a straight face. Let me back up and explain why I said that. As many of you know that my husband's mother had been fighting cancer. Yesterday evening she finally lost that fight and passed away. Her funeral will be on Friday. Her obituary was posted online today, and this was brought to our attention by her sister (my husband's aunt, not a JW, never has been) In her obituary it talked about her parents, her marriage, her siblings, and those who preceded her in death. It talked about her two children and her four grandchildren. The issue is that she has 3 living children, 6 grandchildren, and one great-grandson that were NOT included in her obituary.
When my husband's aunts both saw this they were livid. The eldest talked to her brother-in-law (my husband's father) about this, and apparently things got very heated between the two. Don't know was talked about yet, but apparently he threw some very nasty threats at her about my husband. Yes, we will be attending the funeral because my husband did not get a chance to say his goodbyes to his mother while she was still alive, but we will be going with her two living sisters.
Also attending will be several other close relatives to my mother-in-law, who are not JWs, and never have been. We are getting word through the grapevine that this obituary fiasco, is not sitting well with them. The funeral will not be taking place at the Kingdom Hall, but at the cemetery, I'm assuming because of the COVID threat. Normally I don't attend any JW funerals, but I am this time for two reasons. The first because I am going to be there to support my husband, and second just to see what is going to happen.
I'll update everyone here sometime after I get back.

I too was excited when they came out with the varicella vac. But that didn't protect my sons from getting the chickenpox, and they both had the vac twice also.
I was talking to my neighbor about the flu shot (he has two daughters in elementary school). The bad thing about getting the flu shot in August (this is when school starts here), it will be a hit and miss thing, because at that month they do not know which strain of flu will be the one affecting people. Those were his words.
Before anyone calls me one of those people who are against vac, this is not the case. Both my children had all the required vacs. I'm just opposed to forcing people to get the flu shot, from my own personal experience with it.

Send the state of Massachusetts the hospital and or funeral bill for those who have issues with the Flu vac. also the bill for lost wages for those who do get ill from this poison.
For any who say aren't you being a bit extreme on this, the flu vac. nearly killed me.

How do I find a woman who is a Jehovah's Witness during COVID-19 Pandemic?

You said you are 16, don't worry about finding that special some whom you are going to spend the rest of your life with. I say this because what appeals to you now, won't when you are 25. This pandemic won't last forever, eventually, it will pass, pandemics always do.
Just wanted to say one little thing, I did not meet my husband at any congregation meeting, nor assembly. At the time we lived in two different congregations in two different states, Neither of us was looking for that special someone.

GB teaching - Gays and Lesbians will be resurrected as Gays and Lesbians
by Listener inthe final talk of the saturday afternoon online convention is given by lett, sporting a creepy looking combover, which for some reason, looks creepier than normal.
he talks about how those resurrected will need to come into line with a new moral code otherwise they will be destroyed.
he uses an example of gay people having to turn away from their inclinations even though they may feel that they are perfectly acceptable.. this demonstrates that the gb feel that being gay is a taught behaviour rather than an imperfect unnatural desire, otherwise they would be growing out of that desire as they develop towards perfection, as they teach.

Are You Afraid of Contracting The Covid Virus?

No, I figure when my time is up, it's up. But seriously at first, I was a little freaked out by it, but now just wish this thing would get behind us. I don't use hand sanitizer, never have, never will, I've absorbed too many chemicals when I use to be a JW janitor. Now it is just old fashion soap and water, and only the mask when I have to enter a public business because it is mandatory where I live. And before someone goes on about the high-risk folks, I am what they would call high risk.

My letter of disassociation, what do you think?
by James Jack indear brothers, july 27, 2020. in 1919, the president of the watchtower society made a bold prediction, “millions now living will never die”.
that quotation was constantly repeated by the organization till the year 2000 when they realized that everyone in attendance at that assembly, who listened to j.r. rutherford repeat those words, are dead.. that teaching has guided my life.
statements were repeatedly made at assemblies, conventions and in print that there was no career in “this system of things” so you don’t need a job with benefits or retirement, your fulltime job is to “preach the good news”!

@LongHairGal,
I did send my JW relatives a heads up before the announcement was made, but it didn't make any difference. They still chose the lies that were spilled and even made up a few of their own. Learned this through other relatives who were not JWs.
