  how would you handle a situation where your grandkids are being used by their father to manipulate their grandmother into going to the meeings?

  grandkids sending text messages to grandmothers phone asking if she will come to their meeting.

  grandmother is no longer attending meetings and doesn't wants to she know ttatt.

  Sorry this is happening.

  Nugget's second paragraph is spot on. Play your "role" and don't push.

  Grandparents have no legal rights in the US to see the grandchildren, so you have to make it work with the parents. Technically, they can cut you off for any reason, and there's nothing you can do.

  Agreed, I think that's part of the hook, along with love bombing. Chances are good that many have been directly impacted at some point in life, by some sort of "immorral" act.

  The days of Noah thing is real twisted, Jesus said things would be 'normal' and they "took no note"

  The issue of collapse is another story. Many experts (as well as JW's) have been saying collapse is comming for at least the past 50 years. Technically, they are correct. The (mainly monetary) "system" calls for ETERNAL growth, and we live on a finite planet.

  The question is a little broad.

  In the US, the standard of living is very good. But it would take 4 earths for all to live the way we do. Also, in the

  US, suicide is the leading cause of death for people between the ages of 10 to 50. Also, the factory farming of animals is hidden, as it contains incredable cruelity. It was not like that 50-75 years ago.

  There is also the Malthusian point of view, where the sheer numbers of those suffering are increasing. According the the WHO, every 8 seconds a child under the age of 5 dies, related to the lack of access clean water.
