  Sorry bout the fresno jokes. Yes, i've gone to the fresno city web site, mostly looking for jobs tho. I just graduated from CSU Fresno with a Computer Science degree and was looking for any computer related job here in fresno. Not too many to come across. I did apply for a fresno city job, a programmer position but they didn't want me I landed a little programming job but still not really happy with it. But I guess this isn't a job finding forum. I apologize if I offend Mr. Autry, Fresno, ect. Anyhoots, I might take you up on that lunch offer some day

  It isn't just his spelling that is bad. Its his overall grammar. If anybody (I know) was to have a conversation with this water waster manager and he spoke with the same grammar as he typed, they would question his thinking ability. Nothing he said was substantial, just attacks. His arguements about anyone could write a letter claiming they were sexually abused is disgusting. It is a touchy matter and people might not want to tell this obviously outspoken judgemental person their dark secrets. My wife on the other hand has a personality that people just open up to. It seems as if half the people she knows were molested at one time or another (jw or not JW). It does happens. If it gets covered up and not dealt with, we have a serious issue. (oops, getting off my soapbox)
  This kind of reasoning (Everything negative said about WT must be lies) shows a closed, unintelligent mind. Wheh...

  The truth of the Resurrection

  at this time of easter christians celebrate the foundation of their faith, the resurrection of jesus christ.

  without the resurrection, the rest of the christian faith is in vain, with it, the whole plan of god is fulfilled and validated.

  in other words, if the resurrection occurred it proves the existence of god and his plan for salvation.. with that in mind, i offer the proof that the resurrection is a historical fact that be relied upon:.

  perhaps...But I cant tell the difference between them in the greatest man book. only can tell them from their clothes. Oh, the fat grey haired one I can tell apart. But they all looked the same. Wern't Jews not supposed to cut their sidelocks back then? How come all those pictures are JW looking people with beards? And Jesus himself said that the greatest show of love is when you sacrifice you own life for someone else. Perhaps he convinced an apostle to take his place. (arguing for the sake of arguing, sorry)

  I don't mean to beat Fresno down, but we got a mayor known as BUBBA...and we have advertisements on radio (maybe tv) about not to throw your trash on the ground. On the good side, X-files is taping the final episode in east fresno county. I am looking forward for city improvements. Woohoo for E-mail! thats why I unlocked my email. I'm a little antsy about telling the KH's i went to incase Elder spies are here and spill the beans before I am ready to. I want to be in control of that.

  with all the escalating violence in the world today and senseless barbarism, how many people on this site are still living in any sense of security.do any of you have a bright outlook for the future of the world we now live in ?is the un the answer to world peace ?personally my out look is dim .i have seen plenty of posts about the god that will annihilate the earth by killing 99% of all people that do not follow his instructions but the way i see it is that mankind has spent the past 100 years trying to find more powerful means to destroy the population and the planet due to paranoia .can such an untrusting and suspicious species exist with such deadly arsenals at their disposal?

  i believe it is just a matter of time before something gives and we are living in the mad max movie.

  this is my first thread ,so be gentle and thanks for any participation.

  As little as I know of China and India, I doubt they are 3rd world countries. India is a huge manufacturer of computer software. Go walk in Hong Kong and call it 3rd world....
  You Know...How can angles be Hell bent if there is no hell to be bent upon going? It doesn't sound like a JW, more like someone trying to imitate them to provoke an arguement. I might be wrong tho

  Not that i believe what i'm going to say, but it might have been a possibility:
  Remember the authorties who arrested Jesus didn't know what he looked like, they were to identify him by Judas' kiss. Perhaps it was planned that someone else was to take Jesus' place so Jesus can live on and preach under an assumed name. Jesus never actually died, thats why he was seen later. I know there are lots of holes in this and I don't even believe it but it just goes to show that there are many other rebuttles to theses 'proofs'. As I learned from being a witness (not from the witnesses) you can prove whatever you want to believe!
