-God inspires them
-They have god's holy Spirit.
I guess what I want to know is the nature of their inspiration, do they hear voices, does God come to them in dreams or do they see visions or do they have some sort of burning bush at Brooklyn only they are privy to.

There wasn't any flood. Man has always loved meat. For example I lots of parents forcing their kids to eat their greens but never their meat. We instinctively love meat. Always have.

Change of 144000 doctrine?
by Julia Orwell ina friend of mine just got given a recording of the last ca which was held here a couple of weeks ago and she said there's been a change to the 144k teaching.
she didn't understand what the hell they were rabbiting on about.
she's really waking up as a result of all these changes, and so are some others she knows.. anyone know of any change to the 144k doctrine?

I was talking to a relative about the flipflops in WT doctrine over recent years. Know what he told me? He compared the WTS to Jehovahs chariot mentioned in ezekiel I think. He said it could move in any direction, and it wasn't his place to question it, but rather to try to keep up with the chariot.

Religion has supported slavery. Paul even told runaway slaves to return to their masters.
Religion has supported gender inequality.
Religion has supported genocide, massacre and warfare.
Religion has oppressed advances in all fields, especially the sciences.

Thnx Lois for bringing up this subject. At least I know I'm not insane. When I tell my family that the society condemns higher education, they tell me that I didn't understand the talk. English is my first language. I don't need someone translating a talk I just heard in English. Btw. I think it is the height of hypocrisy. The Watchtower Society uses lawyers, architects, a complex logistics system, the latest printing technology which are all products of higher education. When new methods of bloodless surgery methods are discovered they make so much noise about it. Then they have the gallery to condemn higher education.

Evolution is Crap, there I said it!

the theory of major evolution is crap!
