Can your child be too young to learn TTATT? Where would you start?
by DATA-DOG inthat is my dilema.
my child is wonderful, funny, smart, talented, cute, kind, and a social butterfly.
i want to see her happy.

Keep i mind what you share with your daughter she will share with her witness friends. In my lng life I have never seen this fail with me as a child or with my own children. If she shares too much you will have a lot of explaining to do.

"Church" Music
by NeverKnew inplease frame this for the non-jw here.... yesterday, i was in the car with a jw friend as miscellaneous tunes from my ipod were playing.
a "church" song came on that i love.
this song makes me think of him in that he has told me "jehovah has been with me in some of the worst times of my life" and that he "doesn't want to leave jehovah.

This is because a religin does not llow the teaching of blood being thicker than water, I found blood (family) being the most important in my life. Keep him close to yur heart he is just now growing into the years of making decisions for his own life. Little sister ids going to be a strong pull. Good luck I can now use this everyday statement

Where To By Crisis of Conscience
by binadub inmaybe this information has surfaced here before, but if so it is worth repeating periodically:.
a couple weeks ago i was shocked after doing a google search for crisis of conscience when it brought up amazon with four distributors selling the book in soft-cover for collector prices between $169.95 us to over $650, with only 4 copies available.
hard cover was not available new, and used copies were being sold for over $50-75.

My first two experiences was at age 14. Couldn't shun first sister. I found her in labor at circuit assembly at out of way restroom. I couldn,t ignore her so took her 4 year old and he and I found her mother to go help her. Samee year teenage friend got pregnant (by CO son) we were told from elders to shun her and not to touch the newborn because she was unclean. Seemed a hateful way to treat someone who was treated so nasitly. (CO son never disfellowshipped.) That started me young to see how unlovîng disfellowshipping was. Also how unfair the elders could be.

Not sure what to do next
by magotan ini'm 19, and i'm still currently a jw.
i guess i'm a born-in, or whatever you guys call it.
i've had some serious issues with the faith at the moment, and sexuality is a huge part.

my son is gay. Some JW parents handle it better than you mught think. It is hard on all parents when a child comes outnbut for me it was because I knew it was going to be hard on my son. I chose him when he was dfed because I had to believe family is more important than "loving Shunning" that the organization pushs. I have spoken with other JW gays thru my son. They all have said it is the way they are born not a life choice. You will find others who support you here. Wishing you love and support.
