  Theocratic warfare [AKA Lying for the Truth]

  my elder brother made the mistake of telling me about the wts policy of theocratic warfare.

  he first called it 'lying for the truth' then he tried to tone it down to theocratic warfare.

  he justifies this position by citing the scriptures that say do not throw pearls to the swine for they will trample them under foot and tear you to pieces.. my question is .

  This "Theocratic Warfare" is one of the first things that made me start doubting it was in 1988 a CO and PO Lied to my face and then to my best friend. This is why they don't like people talking about what happens in the back room. All started by a lying teen age bride who wasnt ready to be a married woman.

  That is one of the articles that kept me from getting my college education. This was the main subject for all my life,,Now I am 67 years old and resenting how much influence the Watchtower and Awake had on mylife. I was neve suppose ty graduate high, but here I am sometimes being hit bt a bolt of lightening how much of my thinking still is JW thinking. Thankfully my two grown granddaughters catch it and we discuss why I have some ODD beliefs.

  The JWORGanisation future.

  this week i saw the organisation's future.

  an ueber-zealous elder, field service glorious one, on friday night corralled all the teenagers for a get-together, first wt preview, and then communal watching of the jworg-tv presentations.

  ( in case they do not do that at home).

  A teen 50 years ago I intensely disliked these type of get togethers.  One was all I needed to attend before I and other JW teens avoided.  I don't believe current teens would think any differently

  JW.ORG sign finally hung on Bonita Springs, FL Kingdom Hall

  driving past the kh in bonita springs quite often, i noticed today that they finally put the blue sign on one of the driveway columns facing the street.

  they've blasted religion for years for the cross or whatever else they display, saying it is idolatry.

  i don't find this sign any different than christian churches displaying the cross or synagogues having the star of david.

  I also noticed here in Jacksonville FL. put up a JW.org sign.  I drove down the same street a few days ago and I didnt notice it.

  Did You Know Any Bad JWs?

  over the years, i knew some individuals that were pretty bad witnesses.

  they broke more commandments that most.

  Yes many.  50+ years ago my congregation had our very own pedophile.  He was a Bethelite so older JWs thought he walked on water.  we had a couple who were full time pioneers, not nice to young ones at all. I could go on but I would be writing a novel.

  i was in the house with her for all of the last week of her life.

  she went quietly and peacefully and had people that cared a lot for her around at the end.

  she and dad touched a lot of lives in very positive ways.

  Surprise ! Surprise ! 2015 Arrives and NO Armageddon or World's " End " - Go Figure

  i guess 99.9 % of ex-jw's here could have predicted as much .

  armageddon didn't happen in 1914. it didn't happen in 1925. it didn't happen in 1975. and it did not happen in 2014. since the wt society first predicted a world's end when their organization started in 1879 - 126 years have passed which according to any dictionary in any human language 126 years comprises of 4 separate generations each totaling 30 years each.

  plus 6 years into a 5th generation.

  Flipper my husband thinks like you.  He commented on the way to breakfast, the new world looks exactly the same as the old world.
