  What a beautiful day for service!

  i heard this expression very often and even said it often myself.

  now that i am out, i realize this isn't always the case.

  there were many times i was going out in service saturday morning and couldn't wait for 12:00 to come along so that we could go swimming, bicycling, play basket ball, go to the beach... .

  Yes two. One a friend from my husband and sister in law congregation 50 years ago. Another who caused a lot of heart ache in my sisters home. A third flipper and I came from the same area I didn't know flipper but I knew his three siblings and his former brother in-law

  7 day conventions?

  did any of you attend the old school week long conventions?

  i have heard stories and it seems like these were mostly in the 70's and 80's before my time.

  i couldn't imagine.

  I attended the 8 day at the Rosebowl. Hot and miserable long days and nights. I was at the Dodger Stadium in 1969. Most miserable assembly of my life I carried around a 18 month old baby boy. I look back and think what a miserable thing to do to a baby. I didn't know any better.

  Reunited With My Brother

  my little brother on the left exited the cult after 29 years.. me in the middle.. my older brother on the right stopped his bible study after discovering ttatton youtube videos.. never lose hope guys!.

  Let me say in 1967 as I was pregnant with my first child how many of the sister asked if I realized how hard it was going to be to have a baby during the tribulation into Armageddon that baby will be 50 his next birthday. I was never to grow up 70 my next birthday.

  I looked at this picture and my first thought "Was my brother Jesus". you can't imagine how much this Jesus and my brother resemble only my brother died 3 years ago

  we also didnt recieve an invitation. no family calls and no invite at the door. i cant help but think its losing it importance. Family probaby understand its a no go for us to attend.

  My daughter was three years old when a man exposed himself while he answered the door. that was 42 years ago. My friends and I had it happen we were going into the ministry. it nothing new. We were children of about 10 to 12 at the time.
