OMG, ohiocowboy...I had no idea you went through that back then. I wish we both knew then what we know now, I would have totally taken you in. It makes me so sad that you went through so much sadness at such a young age. I use to have so much respect for your parents, I loved them like family but after I heard about the way they treated you, I lost all of that. I blame it on the cult. If they had not been in it, maybe your life would have turned out differently. But hopefully, you are happy now. We need to catch up. Are you still in Dallas? Going to be there in February. Born into the JW's-been out about 10 years. This is the first year that I have had a tree. My husband says that he's not comfortable with it and doesn't want to do a tree next year. I can take it or leave it. We only did it this year for the grandson.

Put up my first xmas tree this weekend

JWs are the Modern Day Pharisees
by ilikecheese ini've been reading the gospel of matthew a bit lately, and it kind of strikes me how much the pharisees seem to resemble the jws.
i'm sure this topic has come up several times before, but i've been thinking about suggesting this topic to my jw boyfriend to see what happens.... probably nothing good.
i'm up for a good whiny argument.
