TV.JW.ORG (September 2015) - Generation explained again
by Designer Stubble inguess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.
david spane does his best to explain it again.
the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

Apparently(TM) the pronoun "this", which in every other written form and grammatical usage since the beginning of the written english language has always been a singular person, place, thing, idea......., in the one and only use of "this" it refers to two generations. Confused? Let the Governing Body (TM) lovingly(TM) put it to you this way. For over a millennium worldly scholars have taught the word "this" is a singular pronoun. In various languages such as Latin, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic, singular pronouns have been used. Now, we brothers know it is grammatically impossible to use a singular pronoun to represent more than one noun, but if we didn't use our super happified smarts from our average 8 grade school education, as we all know higher education is evil, we wouldn't be able to make our ecclesiology accurate. The only hope we have is you brothers and sisters are so stupid, I mean loyal, you won't even notice us raping the English Language. As you know, we are the Guardians of the Galaxy. Sorry I mean Guardians of the Doctrine(TM)......... Hold on, we can't trade mark Guardians of the Doctrine it seems those pesky Catholics beat us to it. Let me start over. As you know, we are unpresumptously God's Channel of Communication and it is impossible for us to be wrong as we are speaking for God. If you dare think about this brazen act of intellectual dishonesty at all, we will cut you off lovingly(TM) from your family by sending our executioners, I mean Dukes of the Kingdom after your ass. -

Why Me?
by John Aquila indo you ever wonder why out of all the witnesses, you are the one that woke up?
i wonder many times why me.
i know many men and women that are much, much better persons than me; either they are much smarter, more humble, kinder, more successful, or just better persons all around.

John the fact that you give one shit about what kind of person you are puts you head and shoulders above 90 percent of the human population. I'm sure you are hard on yourself and sure we all commit acts of douchebaggery, but don't be so hard on yourself look past your mistakes and realize you were raised in an environment which conditions most of us to negatively judge our actions and emotions. I'll bet you're a great person you just can't see it for yourself. -

Idiots. Of course the stage can hold 200 more lbs than it was designed to hold. You don't engineer stuff to be safe at a weight because it will magically fall apart if 1 excess pound is added. Take for instance heliports are rated for specific weights. We were working on a project on a vessel that had a heliport rated for 12,000lbs. The aircraft needed to haul a piece of equipment we needed on the project weighed more than 12,000 lbs. So we called the engineers who built the vessel and asked,"What could we do"? A very nice Dutch man told us that the rating on the heliport was for a 15 ft drop of up to 12,000 lbs. He told us we could get a one time waiver of 20,000 lbs just be sure the pilot didn't crash.
It is utterly amazing that someone would be impressed by this much less a room full of people. No wonder they don't want people educated.

by Defianttruth ini am in awe of you two.
i think what you have done to stand up to a multinational, wealthy cooperation is a thing of true courage.
i want to say, "i am sorry for the abuse you have suffered and subsequent pain the both of you have had to endure by individuals who were supposed to be there to protect you.

I want to say, "I am sorry for the abuse you have suffered and subsequent pain the both of you have had to endure by individuals who were supposed to be there to protect you." I don't even know if you will ever read this or if you even know of this web page, but I am putting this out into the Universe just in case one day you look at it. Both our your testimonies, were powerful and moving.
I was physically abused at the hands of my Jehovah Witness father. I like to consider myself a brave person, but I do not know if I could have done what the two of you have. I wish I could give each of you a hug. Maybe one day you will read this and know that you may not have been properly loved inside the clutches of your religion, but you are loved by the ones who are former members of your faith.
Deepest Regards,
Defiant.

Does it say anything in the bible about being a “spiritual head” or the head being responsible for everyone’s “spiritual growth”?
by My Name is of No Consequence inmy wife is really getting on my case about not being spiritual and leading the family spiritually.
at this point, i really dont go to meetings anymore nor do i have the desire to go.
i guess its not enough that i work 50 hours a week and pay the majority of the household bills with no complaints.

If she truly wants to live a biblical life argue the converse of male headship. Tell her she is clearly under your headship and should obey you in all matters. Then tell her as her head you expect her to follow all your commands to a T. See how fast she crawfishes away from the idea of a biblical life. -

Okay, I am almost forty and outside of my wife I haven't had a friend in decades. Sure I have tons of people with whom I am friendly towards, but they all share something to do with work or business.
I remember thinking last year I had no one who called just to talk. I have people call me constantly talking about work related things, but no one ever called me just to say hello.
I live a pretty simple life. I am either at work or with my family. This limited my ability to meet people. My life schedule combined with my natural introverted personality made meeting new people difficult. I decided to change this so I needed a venue other than work to meet people.
I looked around and found a volunteer conservation group I could get behind and joined. I met another guy who was a tinkerer (a tinkerer is an individual who likes to build and work on random things). He works out of his shop at nights and one the weekends. I have a shop I work in doing all kinds of stuff and we soon joined each other on various personal "fun" projects.
A few days ago he called and we didn't talk about our conservation club or our projects we just talked. When I hung up the phone it felt weird. I then realized he called just to talk. Besides my wife it has been decades sense some one has called just to talk.
It was a nice feeling. Wish me luck on my new "bromance".

Excuses to miss the meeting that won't raise suspicion of a fade
by kairos inthe first step to fading is to begin missing the meetings.. "if" anyone misses you, a quality excuse must be at the ready.
this will produce empathy toward you as opposed to suspicion.. 1. car problems ( don't mention that you caused them ).
2. stuck on the phone resolving insurance, billing, etc issues.. 3. sick ( of the meetings ).

"Every time I sit at the meeting I have uncontrollable urges to____________________."
A. Masturbate while looking at your mom.
B. Beat people whom ask me questions senseless.
C. Finally answer Jehovah's constant voices in my head.
It's easier to fake crazy than sick.

V idiot. Testosterone has a bad reputation because of the anti doping campaigns put out by different groups through out the years. Yes "roid rage" is possible, but that is caused by athletes abusing the steroids. They will literally use 10 times the amount of normal levels. My personality is much more laid back now I have my levels back to "normal". We have no qualms about women using estrogen to keep a since of normalcy during menopause. Why should we view it differently for men wanting to keep normal levels during andropause.
