Has anybody watched Making A Murderer on Netflix ?
by smiddy ini watched this 10 part series the other day and i was appalled at the investigation conducted by the police , especially the way they conducted their investigation with brendan vassey , his interrogation and obvious manipulation by the police officers , i couldn`t believe he was convicted , and sentenced to a jail term.. to any intelligent person with any sense of compassion could see brendan vassey was intellectually disadvantaged , yet these police officers exploited that failing of this boy .he should never have been convicted , his case should have been thrown out of court , the fact that he has been in jail over 10 years is a gross miscarriage of justice .. the conviction of steven avery seemed to me to be a set up also from what was presented on netflix ,.
i am no fan of steven avery ,i think he is a bit of a hillbilly type , that has had no problem with cruelty to animals , which i abhor ,yet i do think he has been railroaded in this conviction ,while the real killer and rapist goes free .. what are your thoughts .

I watched it. I think it is time for judicial reform in this country. I would suggest a system that did not protect District Attorneys from retribution. If a DA brings a case forward with insignificant evidence, he or she should be found liable both criminally and civilly. In other words one had better be damn sure before charges are ever brought up. In my mind a 100 criminals should go free before 1 innocent man goes to jail. -

Yesterday, I fired my financial advisor for my employees 401K and hired someone new. It was later discovered that the lazy Idiot, with whom I hired in the first place, set the 401k up wrong. Now to move their accounts, they will have to pay a penalty. So today, I called everyone in and gave the bad news. Here's how I handled the situation.
First, I apologized for allowing this to happen in the first place. I took responsibility and said I made a mistake. Secondly, I announced I was covering the cost of everyones penalties out of my own pocket. I didn't blame anyone else or try to pass the buck. I am very proud I did this. I didn't have to, but it is the right thing to do. How do these people sleep at night? They have zero moral direction. In my eyes, they are morally repugnant. "Faithless and Desecrate Slave indeed."

Jefft A question your expertise may be able to answer. Everyone seems to look at the property assets the WBTS has in its possession as equitable properties. A person who claims to work at a bank the WTBS banks with list their D&B credit as good. With their cash flow and If the properties were containing equity wouldn't it be easy to receive a loan based off of these two factors. Is it telling that they are more willing to limit growth and operations while having cash flow and good credit. My point is the NYC properties are some the hottest properties in the world. If they needed liquid capital, wouldn't any bank in the world be willing to loan them money if the properties had equity? -

From what I've noticed about exjws, uniformity is hard to achieve. I think the best way to deal with this is to set a date and let everyone do what he or she wants. Kind of like Christmas. Some people have a big party, some people keep it intimate, some people view the religious part as important, while others use the opportunity to embrace his or her family. Everyone does his or her own thing. If someone wants to mail a uniform letter he or she can do that. If someone wants to write a personal letter he or she can do that. We don't have to do the same thing. This freedom will allow a group of people, whom are cautious of any form of control, to be an active part. Don't make specific rules. Leave them open to do what they want. Just give them the opportunity to be active. -

Will Gilead Go Away?
by freemindfade injust a total speculative thought i had.
with branches getting cut, special pioneers getting sacked, and bethel members going byebye, is there a need for gilead still?
(co's are probably on the block too lests be honest).. if they got rid of that i feel that would be huge.

BOC I have had both. They are excellent drinks. The problem with single malts is there is so much variety between the batches which understandably adds to the experience for some. The blended ones are mixed to create a very specific profile. I love the JW Blue. It just matches my taste. -

I enjoy an active lifestyle which includes running, biking, hiking, and hunting. If I smoke one, I will smoke a thousand. I admire people who can smoke one and put it away. I unfortunately am not one of those people. -

Johnny Walker Blue is my favorite. I had to quit cigars completely. I would have one, then two, and the next thing I know I'm smoking cigs. O well, every man must know his limits. -

24 hours of exjws trying to work on something together and no one has insulted anyone, tried to take over the project and appoint themselves the master of the Universe leader, not even one crossed word. That right there folks is a record.
