I'm not a troll! I swear! I'm just a woman trying to make sense of you all.

My Humble Opinion of This Forum
by turtleturtle infirst off, i love frequenting this forum.
it has given me the opportunity to truly put jw stuff to the test and i thank everyone for their helpful responses.. however, i have noticed a couple things.. 1) the use of the word "troll" is completely childish.
this is no different than the name calling used by jws (e.g.

Although I was a lurker for a long time, I only recently started posting and I am loving the old threads! I was all excited to join the group, but instead of really introducing myself, I keep getting distracted by threads! LOLOLOL
I read the whole Rutherford/Bonnie/Bertha thread today and I am just blown away by the level of intelligence here.
A little confused about the shamus100 and Aguest, though.

So if you still believe in god how can you stay when he says 'Get out of her my people...'
by Lozhasleft inso many of us now realise that the wtbs is a false religion.
but for those who haven't left or been dad or dfd, how can you stay?
ok, if you've lost your belief in god and are staying for family/friends etc, but, if you do want to preserve a relationship with your god, how can you stay knowing how he feels about false religion?

I know how hard it was for me to get out, and what it cost me. I would never presume to judge someone else for choosing to stay in longer than I did, or to execute a long fade, or to just remain inactive to keep family ties.
I don't think it's up to us to enforce the command to "Get out of her" or how others should do that.
How much better to offer suggestions and support, than to judge others' choices!
But I'm new here, so what do I know? lololollol

I am much happier being out! The hypocrisy, jockeying for position in the congos, and no real love and concern for others always distressed me. I felt guilty for things that I know now, I am not being judged for by God.
The truth really does set you free! Once you realize it's just another religion, you can worship God with a free and joyous heart, not burdened by guilt and judgmentalism.
I'm new here, I hope I'm not stepping on toes.

Okay. I've read this site for awhile now. I guess it's not fair that I know more about you all than you know of me!
I was born and raised a witness, 3 generations. I've been away from it for awhile now and I feel so much better! That's why I chose "SunnyDays" for a name! I still believe in God and Jesus, my faith is important to me. I think that's all I will say for now, untill I get more comfortable.
I used to have alot more questions but I found others here had the same questions and they've been already answered on old topics! LOLOLOLO So I'm not sure how much I will able to participate here!
Thanks,
