I continue to be amazed by those who belonged to a ridiculous cult like JW's and now believe in NO Creator!
They have gone one from one extreme to another! How insane is that?!?!
Many believe they have the Truth but do they really? Not until we die will we ever know or not know anything.
Dead or alive in some other place in this massive universe something may exist. Do we have proof ? absolutely not!
Those who believe in no creator do what they do not because they have 100% proof But because they have this arrogance and knowledge of there being no creator. Well, if you were so convincing then maybe way more people in this world would believe no God. But that is not the case. Or is it?
My sense is most athiests come here to feel better, to validate their knowlege of there being no Creator. But they alooked viewed as those who are anti um you know. Now go ahead with your ridiculous backlash atheiests. We all know why you are what you are. And honestly I feel sorry for you, pity.

I don't like the bashing either. There are many atheists with logical answers and then those who mock anybody who believes in a creator. I tend to ignore the mockers. They are obviously very bitter with their lives
I'm still a believer but have many questions. There are very intelligent people who believe in a creator and those who don't. I realize many ex JW's end up atheists. I believe they felt like they wasted all those years in that organization and have lost all feeling toward there being any Creator. Also they believe there is no where to go! Which is not the case! You don't need an organization to believe in a Creator. Of course I have nothing against atheists. I've known many and was even friends with one. But they were so negative I had to block them out of my life. Not negative in a sense of there being no Creator but more so with life. depression, anxiety, drug abuse. It's a terrible life to live

i knew this was coming but to actually see it was another thing.. i am a huge dave ramsey follower where he hates debt and charging on credit cards.
he totally feels everyone should be out of debt and pay cash only.
that everyone needs to do plastic plastic surgery to cut up their credit cards.
Honestly im shocked that they are doing this now. If you told me this like 5 years ago I would have LMAO. It's such a shame that they are going that route but then again I figure anything is possible. As if they even need that much money?! with all the cutbacks and property being sold off you'd think that they need less money. I guess that's quite the contrary....they need more!
It's definitely one of the worst but certainly not at the top of the list!
i believe there are far worse cults that disillusion people to the point where you wonder, "what were these people thinking?"
but then again there are plenty of people who wonder the same about JW's
as most of us know, the society is spending 10's of millions of dollars on a giant, state of the art, secluded bunker country club headquarters in very remote, isolated warwick ny.. the question that "some" have is, why?
if armageddon is coming "very soon", why go to all that time & effort & expense?
why have thousands of jws dedicating their time to this massive effort instead of the "lifesaving ministry"?.
One of my JW friends told me about the purchase a couple years ago. I literally live 20-30 minutes away. It's in Orange County New York. I still talk to her, maybe I can get more info. She could never really give me a clear answer on why they were moving everything upstate. Brooklyn headquarters are like an hour or so away. Been to Patterson and the upstate NY facilities.
