Did you grow weary in "well doing"?
by compound complex in"and let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
" holman christian standard bible; galations 6:9.. i just now remembered an old wt article about the things that discourage us about our imperfect selves.
one such disappointment in ourselves is that we know we should continue doing good unto others, but we're simply worn out.

Elder Tells Study to stop using google for research ???
by raymond frantz inelder tells study internet is bad for research.
(watch the video here...).
it might be that the watchtower has embraced the internet in recent years as never before but in private things are the same .watch this video as an elder strongly discourages a study from using the internet to get answers.shameless mind control from the same people who promote in any kind shape and form their version of online truth ,jw.org.. not many years ago they used to demonise the internet as the following quote from july 2007 kingdom ministry shows:.

Similarly, it is dangerous for us or our children to make friends with strangers over the Internet, even if they claim to be Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Doesn't this qoute say it all? Everyone involved with jw.org is a stranger, yet they claim to be JW's. Is there any danger to letting children "associate" with these strangers via jw.org?

Today's wt "study" obfuscations
by prologos inparagraph 9 : " jesus blood validates the new covenant -- makes posiible the forgiveness sins for all time#.-- [and]--.
god could apply the value of jesus' shed blood to adams descendants--*.
--he could** also adopt certain --humans "as sons"--".

"Baffle them with bullsh!t." That seems to be that Watchtower way.
Way too funny! I know after I endured the WT study this morning one of the eldurrs commented about what a good lesson it was. I replied, "It sure was! I just haven't decided whether to be dazzled or baffled!" The blank look he gave me was priceless. He just didn't have a clue.

Why JW marriage is a huge problem for the organization.
by kneehighmiah inthe difficulty of finding a marriage mate is well known for sisters.
but i would say it's hard for brothers also.
i was talking to a jw last night.

ARE YOU REALLY THAT SHALLOW?
Are we all to understand that you take your vacations at the city dump? After all it sounds like you believe it is shallow to prefer attractiveness over ugliness.
And yes, I made the choice to prefer ONE attractive, healthy, hard working worldly woman over the numerous lazy, obese, complaining, welfare leech, ugly JW's!
Now go ahead and let the JW style bashing begin!

Over a decade ago I made the observation that in the bOrg there are really only two kinds of females of marraige age. . . those who are already married, and those who are single, for damned good reason.
What man in his right mind wants to take on as a marriage partner someone who is morbidly obese, doesn't have a clue about applying make-up, doesn't own or know how to use a hair brush, is a chronic hypochondriac, has several ill-behaved pre-schoolers, and spends money like there is no end to it?
I for one refuse to take on THAT kind of commitment, but back in the day the oh so "loving" brothers said I had a good selection. After all those undesirable traits would be changed after the Big "A". . .SOON!
My choice was a hard working, attractive, healthy (gasp) WORLDLY woman. Best choice possible, and the catty remarks of the JW's hags be damned.

Satan, perfection, new world, and being s***ted on again
by Tenacious inaccording to the bible man was created a little lower in abilities to that of angels.
this means that angels are a tad higher in regards to their perfection.
perhaps they have a word for it in the spirit realm as we mere mortals do not.

This past Sunday the WT had this to say, "The tree would indicate to Adam and Eve that they would always need Jehovah’s direction. For them to eat of the tree would be to claim moral independence, . . ." (Italics mine).
The implication is that the test, if they had not eaten of the tree's fruit, would have continued on indefinitely, without end. The WTB&T$$ claims that at the end of the thousand years of paradise life Satan will again "test" perfect mankind, and that thereafter any who for the rest of eternity do not follow God's laws will be immediately cut off. It would seem that whether it is Satan testing, or the passage of time humans will be shat upon for eternity.

Your favourite WTS publication?
by LoveUniHateExams ini realise that starting this thread may make me as popular as a ginger stepchild but was there any wts publication that you liked, or at least comfortably tolerated?.
my memory may be deceiving me but i think the greatest man book was pretty good, leaving out the gruesome detail of the crucifixtion and wts doctrine.. also, can anyone tell me the list of books that ray franz authored/co-authored?.
thanks.

I liked Commentary on James.
I mentioned that, a number of years ago, to an eldurr who promptly chastised me for studying a book written by an apostate. I guess biblical Christian love and conduct is not approved by the "improved" version of the WTB&T$

I had a little fun picking on a JW with this scripture.
I mentioned the fact that only fourteen verses contained blessings, while fifty-four verses contained curses. Their reply was that, "That surely shows Jehovah's love for his people. He gave them a choice, and plainly stated repeatedly what would happen if they didn't obey him."
I think that in the event I attend tonights meeting I will attempt to get called on and make that same statement, followed by, "And today we see that the GB is just as loving. Remember the WT where they let us know that our very lives depended on following whatever directions we get from them?"
If I get to comment it will be fun watching the sheeple's heads bobbing in agreement.

11/30/2014 WT Study - take care of those who are all used up.
by OneEyedJoe inwas bored during today's indoctrination lesson, and you guys weren't generating enough content to keep me entertained, so i looked agreed at next week's a bit.
basically the point of the hour lesson is that once the society has completely used someone up, they're to be dumped on next of kin (or anyone who'll take 'em) to take care of 'em.
obviously the wts can't dip into any of the millions/billions that they're sitting on to pay for the support of ailing missionaries - they've got that money earmarked for new cult compounds and paying off victims of the pedophiles that they've protected over the years.. just another in a recent string of articles paying lip service to taking care of those that have given their life to the cult while they do absolutely nothing from their ivory towers.

I noticed the same thing. Do more! Pawn off your elderly parents on the congregation or whomever, just don't quit door knowcking!
Yet the WT said this not too long ago:
*** w08 8/15 p. 18 Jehovah Tenderly Cares for His Elderly Servants ***
Show Tender Regard in Practical Ways
7 God gives the families of older ones theprimary responsibility to provide for them. (Read 1 Timothy 5:4, 8.) Jehovah is pleased when families fulfill their obligation toward elderly relatives and thus show that they care about older ones as he himself does. God supports these families and blesses them for their efforts and for all their sacrifices.
Isn't it strange that now the WT says, "Bear in mind that full-time servants have significant responsibilities in the most important work the world has ever known. Could you or your congregation lend a hand if the parents of full-time servants need help?
So while GOD gave the family the responsibility for their elderly parents, the GB has set themselves in effect higher than God himself by sayiing that elderly, likely frail ones, are the responsilbility of the congregation. That makes my blood boil, as my still in elderly parents, who have devoted their entire adult lives to the WT are now totally ignored by everyone in their congregation because they have slowed down physically, and are beginning to show the mental effects of aging. Of course I am not a pious sneer, so that probably explains why my parents must suffer at the hands of those "loving" JW's!

No comment on tight dresses from TM3. Gotta keep those WTB MS motivated!
by aintenoughwiskey inthis is sexist, sisters can strut around in painted on dresses.
i recall one elders wife (she looked fantastic by the way) with a very tight form fitting dress that would have showed a birth mark, let alone a panty line.
none was revealed!

I hope that never happens. Tight dresses, low cut tops are the ONLY thngs that keep me interested at meetings! Yeah, I know...I'm a lech.
