  I believe that Rev 12:6 and 14 is referring to the birth of the kingdom leading to the casting Satan out of the heavens. The woman would be cared for in the wilderness.

  Emotional Moment...

  yesterday i was looking to share a pic with a friend of mine, and i swore it was in my photo albums (i have 3).

  so i start going through them, and i see so many jw pics!

  i had a huge group of friends when i was 'in', and so there is just pic after pic of assemblies, dinners, game nights, rbc projects, my family and the house i grew up in, people from the hall, etc.

  I've been thinking back how in the 70s and early 80s while growing up and attending meetings and assemblies, I don't remember anything about them or anything particular that happened. But what I remember is the softball games when several congregations got together, sledding parties, weddings and receptions. I remember camping at the conventions but not the conventions themselves. While they are so big on family worship, but the kids don't remember those things. They remember the extra-curricular activities with the congregations.

  i don't know if anyone here did topix or used topix for jw news or other religion news and discussions but today topix dropped all their religion forums, discussion forums, news aggregates, .... everything!

  except for some of their entertainment portals and info panels.

  now i don't have a place that aggregates jw related news.. .

  if i was an author of a book i think i would be over the moon if i was guaranteed a sale of around 5 million or more books for my work.. the jehovah`s witnesses have over 8 million members plus relatives that are fringe dwellers who come to the memorial once a year ,.

  so what a gold mine they have been sitting on as a publishing house .. why didn`t they keep publishing books for the faithful ,they could have even upped the price , and the faithful would have paid especially in prosperous country`s in the west.. they could have milked this venture for years to come as the faithful would have bought anything they would have published .. and their prophets (profits) would have soared ,literally and figuratively for many more years to come ..

  very strange behavior by the attendants and elders after the duluth, ga, rc.

  on the first link the attendants start to exit the arena, then line up and turn their backs on the street preachers.

  (around the 6:00 mark).. elders and attendants after duluth rc.

  i was approached by two jehovah’s witness elders who handed me a pamphlet advertising the jw .org website.

  each man carried a bible and an apple ipad.

  they told me that they enjoyed visiting with people about the bible, and asked if i was a bible reader.

  That's not a doctrine that can be proven wrong.

  Rev 19:1 says a great crowd in heaven but that is a description not an identifier of the specific group that John saw in Rev 7.

  Having only 144,000 go to heaven to rule with Jesus makes perfect sense as what other reason would human be taken to heaven.

  as jesus christ was preparing to go to his death, he encouraged his disciples with these words:.

  "in my father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, i would have told you.

  "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:2-3).

  When Jesus said that he was talking to his apostles and disciples. He was stating that he will die and go to heaven as a spirit and then prepare a place for them there by casting Satan out of Heaven. But he was not referring to all believers. Just those ones with him.

  have you ever wondered (when you were an active believer) what life would be like immediately after the big a?.

  in my experience of the pre-big a spiritual paradise most witnesses were aware of the problem posed by the dead bodies of those slain by the bloody minded, would-be mass murderer jesus.

  most liked to quote the author of the revelation, that carrion birds would eat the carcasses.

  "Funny that the book "Aid To Bible Understanding" printed by Jehovah`s Witnesses admitted that the name Jehovah was not the most accurate and that Yahweh was probably a more accurate rendering."

  The name YHWH, Yahweh is Hebrew and was given to Hebrew speaking people. If God gave his name to English speaking people he would give it as Jehovah. The same way that Yeshua was Jesus' Hebrew name given to Mary, but in Engish was say Jesus.
