Here is a better question: How can you call it the good "news" of the Kingdom? Doesn't the word "news" lose its meaning after 100 years or even 50 or even 25 years?

Blondie, - Because Jesus is one of Jehovah's Witnesses. You have to understand the name in the full context.

Apparently people here have trouble with this thing called 'context'

You can't do that. You can't just look for phrases. You have to understand the context of everything that was said and not said.

I don't see how that question is of any consequence.

Your scripture list are not showing the context.

It is not Jesus vs Jehovah. It never has been and never will be.

Each has their own place and roles.

Back in the 90s. Dale Baker Oldsmobile leased cars to the COs and DOs.

I see he died last year.

Dale Baker, 86, of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away in the early hours of January 9, 2021.

In 1942, Dale was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His faith was central to his life, family, travel, and work. The worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses was truly Dale's tightest community, up through the day of his death.

Those who know Dale Baker know that his name is synonymous with cars. Dale loved cars his whole life. As a teenager, he rebuilt a Ford Model T, by hand, so that he'd have a car to drive when he turned 16. He spent his life working his way up in the car business, going from selling tires from the basement of a dealership to the owner of several dealerships across multiple states. His flagship business, the Dale Baker Motor Mall, was a staple in the Grand Rapids business community for over 25 years.

And his daughter Amber Baker married Judah Ben Schroeder.

Allegheny Pyramid Desecrated

sometime within the last 2 weeks, someone took a sledgehammer to the pyramid monument in allegheny.

they stole the topstone, smashed the cross and crown emblem and removed the seal.. personally i'm surprised it lasted this long untouched.

although through the years russell's grave has been vandalized, it was always repaired by the bible students..

I don't see how this is relevant to the WTBTS and it's history or the Bible.. Russell didn't put himself in the pyramid. His followers created that.

OH...NO! Watchtower Has A New Rule Related To Dress And Grooming

the new head-of-the-house max has a problem with how his new stepdaughter (olivia) looks and dresses.. on the friday afternoon part 2 convention video @ 18:10 max 1st brings it up with olivia while in the kitchen!

then fast forward to 26:50 thru 27:65 max bellyaches to new wife (olivia's mother) & it's handled!

message to all rank & file jws....no more fashion torn jeans & beach sandles: :) :) :).

I do not understand why people would wear jeans like that in public. Why would people buy jeans with holes in them? Around the house, for doing yard work or other work is fine.

But it is horrible to wear jeans with holes in public.

Come on, people. clean it up

I don't see the controversy here.

Psalm 51:5 says NIV "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me."

So yes, It is true that children are evil and sinners that need to be saved.

As such they are enemies of God.
