Every time I see Jack Smith, the special prosecutor for Trump, I think if I were on that grand jury, I would tell him that I don't trust a damn thing you are saying because you have a beard. I trust Trump because he doesn't. (though Don Jr does)

There is no such thing as a "Disfellowshipping offense".
People aren't disfellowshipped for 'offenses'.
They get that from 1 Cor 6:9,10 but Paul got those things from Israel's history, such as Sodom and Gomorrah. But were the homos within those cities destroyed because of their offenses? Or because they didn't flee for their safety?

What I don't understand is this "I did not forgive his adultery so I kicked him out, filed for divorce and went to the elders." You ask the elders to be forgiving toward you, but you didn't show forgiveness towards him. I think Jesus had an illustration about that.

Why does this subject of beards keep popping up?
It is not a rule. I don't need anything from the organization telling me not to have a beard to know not to have one.
They are uncomfortable and make me look older. I don't want that.
Same with alcohol. I don't need the Bible telling me anything about alcohol.
It is expensive, and has harmful results and tastes bad.
People should be smart enough to know what works and what doesn't without being told to from God.
But I agree that the organization has become the pharisees and they post paragraphs like that to cover up that truth. God doesn't monitor what people do or dont' do. He doesn't keep records of our activities and get offended by what we do.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 -"the dead know nothing at all"
by aqwsed12345 inthe narrator of the book of ecclesiastes had very little knowledge of many things that jesus and his apostles later preached.
the author does not make statements, but only wonders (thinks, observes, often raises questions, and leaves them open).
he looked at the world based on the law of moses and found nothing but vanity, as the earthly reward promised in the law did not always accompany good deeds and earthly punishment for evil deeds.

How can the dead know anything? At death the circuits are turned off. Like when you turn your computer off, the RAM loses power and everything in memory is gone. The brain is more like an EPROM, where instructions are remembered after power is turned off and when power is turned back on, it can continue with the instructions that it has in its programming. That is what it is like when a person is resurrected.
But people people haven't been resurrected since the apostles day so none of the EPROM brains have been repowered. So they dead know nothing.

Why do JW apostates tend to be activists against the religion?
by Vanderhoven7 inj. arden writes.
first of all an apostate is literally just someone who left.
most jws are technically apostates from the religions they were raised in.

The word "apostate" is a stupid word as it means many things from different perspectives.

Aside from the alleged "composite Sign", what is the scriptural evidence for Christ's 1914 presence?
by Vanderhoven7 inmy take is: 1914 is not biblical since no dates are in the bible.
a hodgepodge of scriptures are ingeniously linked together; then stir in about 9 creative assumptions to arrive at a speculative theory on which to base wts authority.. nathan knorr to fred franz.
"there are some things that i know.

The Watchtower said it was.
The Watchtower is scripture.
Scripture is defined as "something written"
or "a body of writings considered sacred or authoritative"

"My book of bible stories" is child abuse!!
by Witness 007 ini once gave this book to a woman with kids at the door...to my shock my next visit she gave it back saying it was discusting and full of violence and sex!
this book was clearly written by some bethel loser with no kids.
i don't understand why witnesses don't have a separate kids school..

My Book of Bible Stories is NOT the instrument to be used against the WTS. Yes, it contains stories of violence and as mentioned, the Bible contains violence. But reading that to children is not child abuse. Educating children about reality and history is not child abuse.

Is WT Teachig on Hell Biblical?
by Sea Breeze ini guess you could say jesus was the first christian, since he was the christ.
and as the first christian, jesus spoke more about hell that any other biblical figure.
but, he is also the figure that said that he didn't come to condemn the world, but to save it.

"Daniel chapter 4 has nothing to do with 1914."
Daniel 4 and the tree dream is not a WTBTS doctrine. It preceeded them. People need to understand that Russell didn't invent that.
"Overlapping generations is hogwash"
That's true but that is not a WTBTS doctrine is it? That is a product of David Splane and the others of the GB 2.0 which is not the WTBTS.
"The "appointed times of the nations" isn't some "Gentile Times" foolishness; the Bible shows "the appointed times of the nations" is the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation when the nations attack religious institutions."
That makes no sense.

@Seabreeze, you speak like christendom
"Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” In other words, you cannot be a Christian without being "born again" with a new spirit."
That is not what it means.
Israelites were born into the old covenant.
Jesus told him that they would have to be 'born' into a new covenant, 'born again' to get into the kingdom. The new birth would be by water and spirit, baptism by water and anointed by holy spirit would get them the new birth.
The only ones that are born again are the Jews of Jesus' day who could be of the overlapping covenants.
