"In addition to the JWs false and misleading denial that Rebekah Vardy was ever a Jehovah's Witness,"
Why would we or anyone care whether she was a JW? It's not like she has any special information.
in addition to the jws false and misleading denial that rebekah vardy was ever a jehovah's witness, a few other interesting developments occurred that are worth noting:.
1. an article in the last days newsletter reporting on how the jw[.
]org website scrubbed clean its jw 'news' page and produced an entire new glossary of jw terminally meaning for the media:.

"The shunning policy along with the blood doctrine and a stone-aged 2 witnesses rule cannot just disappear overnight."
The problem that I have with the organization is that they are pharisees. They have added rules where they are none.
The law on blood is only found in Genesis 9:4. It contains nothing on the medical use of blood. The governing body adding that makes it their law and not God's law.
Disfellowshipping is completely from the apostles with references back to Israel under the Law. It is all about the congregations rather than anything from Jesus.
I'm not opposed to the two witness rule. Considering that the 9th command says to not testify falsely against someone and there are many other laws showing that Jehovah knows that humans lie and commit perjury against others shows that it is needed.
And considering Blackstone's ratio "It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer", was a legal principle since 1760s, the two witness rule is necessary.
a "waking up", but still a member, jehovah's witness acquaintance of mine from eastern europe wrote the following lines:.
"i count among the main sins of the watchtower society:.
1. concealment.
often as witnesses, we were told of people who started studying the bible (in reality wt literature) and were amazed at what they learned.
you know the sort of thing i mean i have been going to church for years and never knew that.. .
however, in my recent studies, particularly of the book of john, i have felt the same way.
Jesus died on the Passover. The first Passover was observed about the time of full moon, on the 14th day of Abib (later called Nisan) in the year 1513 B.C.E. This was thereafter to be celebrated annually.
If Jesus didn't die on that day, then that accomplished nothing.
Don't worry about what the apostles said or wrote. Always go by what the prophesies said.
he tells them to have the same attitude as christ.
man was made in the image of god.
these verses do not mean that because we are the image of god that we are god.
Why doesn't Juan Baixeras post that on here himself?
This is too much to read for no reason.
I do not define God or Jesus by anything that the apostles wrote. What do or did they know? They had no extra knowledge.
for newbies, who was carl olof jonsson?
he was a jw in sweden who was challenged by a householder in the 1960s, who pointed out to him that secular history books don’t agree with watchtower that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, but instead place the event 20 years later.
the reason the date is important is because it is the starting date for jw chronology which leads to 1914 as the end of the gentile times, and the beginning of the last days, as jws understand it.
How is it that people fell in love with him so easily?
due to their apparent theological bias, the watchtower shamelessly inserts the word "other" in order to "make room" for their own idea that jesus is also a created being.
it is clear that jehovah's witnesses try to avoid having to admit that christ created everything because "the one who constructed all things is god" (hebrews 3:4).
instead, the society teaches that "christ was the only one created by god," and that then he "created everything else with jehovah.
"It is even conceptually impossible, since only God can create. Creation is an exclusively divine ability, and no created being can even serve as a means for creation"
Oh? Only God can create? God does delegate. And he delegated the making to his son, the spirit being who became Jesus.
Creating is making something out of nothing. Jehovah did that. But the making, designing and forming of the matter to plants, animals and humans (Let us make man in our image) was done by Jesus.
this has been announced on the jw's official website, in the "jw news" section.
this is not a joke.
anthony moron da turd is out as a gluttonous body member!
"Regardless, the fact that the WT decided to leave it in and not edit it out seems to be a message"
Or when this was scheduled, he was still in and no one bothered to view the video to make sure of what is in it.

There was a video shown in the midweek meeting this week and it looks like it was from around the time of the 2014 convention. It showed Anthony Morris and his wife in the door to door work.
i have never understood the watchtower's explanation of the rich man and lazarus story jesus told in luke 16. of course, they don't believe jesus is talking about what happens in an "afterlife" after people die.. but from the watchtower's point of view:.
1. who are the five brothers?.
2. why can't lazarus go witness to them?
The problem with the Rich Man and Lazarus is that it may have been understood by the people of that day, but not of today.
It can not be talking about an afterlife, blessings vs punishment as the common thought is that those who believe in Jesus go to heaven and those that don't go to hell. But the parable said nothing about that.
And when did people actually start going to a hellfire? If they go because they don't believe in Jesus, then no one went to hellfire before Jesus started preaching. If it started happening around then, there were never any warnings or explanation as the ideas pulled from the New Testament are pure crap.
It is reasonable that a fair warning should be given to the world, in language that the common world will understand, of what the law intends to do if a certain line is passed. To make the warning fair, so far as possible, the line should be clear. No such clear line existed for hellfire.
