letter read that the society will no longer be making hardcover books.

also the told people to not place orders for daily texts or calendars if they had the ability to download these.

What exactly are they doing with the contribution money Jehovahs's Witnesses give them?

No matter how much money rank and file JW's give to the WTBTS, the GB/evil slave will continue to place the finacial burden of supporting the ministry on the publishers and use contribution funds the way they see fit because they do consider it "their money" the moment it's "given" into their hands. They no longer consider it "money for the advancement of the good news of Jehovah's Kingdom."

They have turned what was once true worship into a "cave of robbers" and a den of thieves (Mt.21:13)

Imagine the outcome and rage when Jesus shows up and sees what this administration has done.

most people, i believe, forced themselves to give an answer.

i knew many elders and servants over the years being counseled because they rarely answered.. funny thing....my mom who is 88 cries if she doesn't give a comment.

Most of the times commenting was something I wanted to do and enjoyed, at times a little nervous about it, but I always enjoyed hearing others comment. That was when we could speak from the heart but the last few years and even more now, comments from the heart are discouraged (almost forbidden) as study conductors are less likely to call on you if you do not stick with the "printed answer" which is usually contained somewhere in the paragraph and what they want to hear reitterated back in your reply. Often it is contains a perspective I cannot entirely agree with. Commenting required much caution because the information being covered offered a shallow or incomplete and sometimes entirely wrong understanding as I see it. Hearing others gulp down the so called spiritual food as if it is "meat in due season" turned my stomach so much I went from LOW to eventually NO meeting attendance as of 2014.

i am wanting to connect to current jws who are going through a tough time and are going through a similar time as me.

not any jw haters, just balanced concerned jws who havent quite given up yet..

What most JWs don't realize is they can give up on the organization without giving up on Jehovah.

My advice is carry on with discernment. No earthly agent is the master of your faith, no governing body, no organization. Subject yourself to Jehovah through Christ Jesus our King...study the BIBLE as much as you can, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, love your familly and the congregation even if they are fooled by the visual appearance of godly devotion put out by the False brothers leading the organization. Don't let anyone or anything take away the love you have for Jehovah and of course the worldwide brotherhood (even while they are fooled by this internal apostasy).

Being aware of the massive stumbling that the WTBTS organization has become accountable for is what we have to keep reminding ourselves of. They are accountable to Jehovah (1Peter 4:17) and He is keeping track...Jehovahs patience (2Peter 3:9)will only last so long...long enough to let each accountable individual show who they really worship...it's either worship Jehovah God or the demon backed apostasy that has hi-jacked the legal entity.

Whoever is now controling the legal entity, the "tool", which was originally set up to be used by Ambassadors substituting for Christ....well plain and simple, they are not using it for the right purpose and they are not now the real Ambassadors substituting for Christ. . Jehovah is going to have an accounting with them in a most profound way...making a statement not only to Jehovahs Witnesses but the entire world.

Yesterday Grandpa died a faithful JW.... or was he.

yesterday at 3 am my grandfather.. 95 more or less... passed away after a heart attack... i got the call at 8 am.

so i am the oldest grandson (out of 40) he was faithful, (thats what they want to say) reality is he wasnt, he cursed, he drank, he had plenty of women during his life.. he was an elder at some point and he was ultra good with everyone.

he had a heart of gold... he treated me as his son, he never cared about my status.

Hi there Cyber, Sounds like you loved your Grampa and knew him well having some real nice memories which I'm sure will comfort you some even though you miss him. I've been a witness for a long time now and I still don't know what to say right after the loss of a loved one. AND, your right, I've been in situations like you described where we (JW's) show up as if we have all the right answers and know exactly what to say cause we have the "truth"??? But the fact is, if we really knew the truth and understood what it's like to experience loss like that...then the best thing we can do is to shut up and listen and let the person who is grieving say what they need to say to work through the grief. Sorry for your loss and take comfort in your memories.

when i was younger i had a lot of attention due to my looks which has always made me extremely uncomfortable.

Well I'm a firm believer in and a good example of "if you don't use it you loose it." (I use to teach H2Ox classes need to get back to that) So I don't recommend giving up exercise, but maybe find another way to exercise. If your in shape, you can now maintain that without all the stuff at the gym. (You might have to go to the gym just a few times per month as opposed to 2-3x's per week) Lots of people do but you'll have to be creative. There may be other factors involved in her not wanting to go to the gym...for eg: most people not in shape find the mirrors at the gyms to be humiliating. Sooo...Find a way to workout together if thats what your wife wants, biking, hiking, walking, whatever you think she might like. You probably will have to slow your momentum down in such a way that its not too noticable to her, so she doesn't feel like she's olding you back. Try jogging a mile first, LOL, before you go together. Once she starts exercising with you she might feel a little better about herself just from the effect of the endorphins alone.

Don't know if this would help but maybe there's an idea in there you could employ....

Why has the WT not tried to shut down this board?

we all know that beth hell monitors this site.. they have repeatedly had sites shut down for quoting large portions of their litterature.

not this one.. do you think this board enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in ex and aposto land?

Sites like this help fuel the apostasy they themselves started. Its all a part of the bigger apostasy picture but at this particular point in its progression since the voice of truth has been slapped with a gag order inside the congregations, it will be spoken out here. They will continue to attempt to control and muffle the real truth behind their demonic scheme out here on the worldwide web...but Jehovah is on to them. I've read here for a bit and have noticed you do have a strong ray of light in your midst. It's time to wake up people!!! Something dark, deep and dirty has been going on right among Jehovahs own people and he has allowed it for a cleansing to occur (Dan.11:35) The question is: When are we gonna wake up?.... or better yet...are we gonna be flushed away in the final rinse?

Don't kid yourself, they are watching vulturously. They feed on this and not only that have provided the fodder for it. Will they shut it down? When it no longer serves their purpose. When they say "GAME OVER." A term they are most familiar with, sadly (boo,hoo) for them it won't turn out exactly as they had planned and they will move on for they have a bigger fish to fry, namely Christendom and the rest of the religious tax exempt world.
