  has anyone watched the videos for children on jw.org?

  i feel sick.. in one video a little girl dreams about paradise: the blind can see again, the deaf can hear again, and of course, she gets to hug a cute little panda cub.

  not until the end of the video is her wheelchair revealed.

  Just saw the new JW.org sign on the local KH sign

  i work about a block from the local kh and i notice there was no jw.org sign on it.

  i said to my wife are they not following the cults rules on this.

  will just yesterday as i was driving home from work there it was on the corner of the kh sign jw.org it was about 1 foot x 1 foot in size.

  Actually its org directive that all kh in the USA have a jw org logo on their sign.

  was bored during today's indoctrination lesson, and you guys weren't generating enough content to keep me entertained, so i looked agreed at next week's a bit.

  basically the point of the hour lesson is that once the society has completely used someone up, they're to be dumped on next of kin (or anyone who'll take 'em) to take care of 'em.

  obviously the wts can't dip into any of the millions/billions that they're sitting on to pay for the support of ailing missionaries - they've got that money earmarked for new cult compounds and paying off victims of the pedophiles that they've protected over the years.. just another in a recent string of articles paying lip service to taking care of those that have given their life to the cult while they do absolutely nothing from their ivory towers.

  And to echo never a jws thoughts, there is a very direct and implied correleation between oroductivity and worth to a corporation when one agrees to work there... You work x hours for y compensation. Often medical and retirment are included. When your employment ends you have whatever money you made plus whatever retirment you acrue. With the org your compensation is more work and your retirment is a oromise never fullfilled. Its very very different.

  No longer to use "house to house record" slips and "please follow up slips"!

  a letter has just been read out indicating that effective immediately, witnesses are no longer to use the s-8 slip known as the "house to house" record slip, as well as the s-43 "please follow up" slip (usually used for foreign language people).. the letter stated that this is because of the changes in privacy laws etc that are becoming common in the world today.. i will try and get a copy of the full letter and post it asap.. .

  In what year was the first Memorial held?

  i have been looking everywhere i can think of to find out which president or what year the watchtower society first celebrated the memorial, or the lord's evening meal with no success.. does anyone know the answer?.

  Lol ironically i dont have any emotional attachment to peterson or his team. your response, on the other hand, is very typical of one reacting from the gut. However, i dont want to appear to be baiting you into a pointless argument so ill take my leave of this topic.

  Please reread my post. i didnt refer to the nfl player conduct policy at anytime. I also think peterson would disagree that he hasnt lost his job, given that hes not working and not being paid.
