Kendrick " Letter of Introduction " from Elders regarding Candace Conti Case

as many of us saw in the pbs news hour program and the abc news nightline program the elders from one congregation failed to communicate properly to the elders in another congregation concerning the child molester jonathan kendrick when he moved to a new congregation.

i have parts of this " introduction letter " from the fremont congregation to the oakley congregation elders so you can read it for yourself and decide how irresponsible these wt appointed elders were.

Had Kendrick been accused of apostasy or independent thinking, that wouldn't fail to be mentioned in an introduction letter, and for years to come, he would be uneligible for privileges and a keen eye would always be watching him in his new congregation. But a known, convicted molester? Not a word of caution. Nothing to worry about. He's even lauded for his skill with kids! Un-be-li-va-ble! How absolutely criminal this letter is. The Elder(s) who wrote this should also spend jail time as accessory to crime.

New forum: one month progress report

well, we survived the first month at least!

yes, the new forum is now 1 month old.. of course there have been some issues and i'm grateful that people have been patient while i worked on them.

a big thank-you to everyone who's been patient, have provided useful feedback or just been willing to adapt to something new during the transition.. i've also made some improvements along the way and am fairly happy with how things are from a basic functionality and performance perspective so it's time to start looking at some of the new features i've been planning.

After some initial unfamiliarity, I must say the new forum has been a welcome evolution. A few quirky things on the iPad, namely on formatting the post (strikethrough characters don't work, paste function within post window behaves erraticly... ) but overall, a very positive change.

One thing I've noticed about the like/dislike feature: it's possible to "like" the same post multiple times. This sort of defeats its purpose, as it should be one vote per user. Is it a bug or was it meant like that?

Having my stitches out....

and i'm a little scared.. yes they are ready to come out.

my thumb pad is tingly and burning.

the skin around the stitches is numb.. with the injury being so bad, it is going to take at least a year for my thumb to be 90% recovered.

i saw this coming since my mother-in-law's funeral .... the congregation's "love-bombing" over my wife had its impact.

i watched her drawing closer and closer to her friends in the congregation.

then she decided she would attend the memorial.

i went back to smoking and gambling but the good habits out weigh.

the bad ones, like lying to people.

is't fraud against the law, the practice.

Ok where do I start: satanism, witchcraft, gambling, smoking pot, cannibalism, crack, crass sexual orgies, theft, blood sausages, worshipping angels, yoga, heavy drinking, and eating pudding with my bare hands.

....... Nahh.......

the only bah habit I got is the bad habit of no longer attending meetings or go out in the field service, thinking for myself and befriending apostates. And that's about it.

It has nothing to do with headship or cuckolding. Simply, she, like most sincere Witnesses, allows her indoctrination to dictate her priorities in life. It's a sad fact, but I don't need to read more into it than what it really is.
