Need help finding a quote!
by EdenOne ini need your help please.. i remember when the book "keep yourself in god's love" was published, there were instructions (published in a km ?
) to the publishers that the book should be the second book to study with bible students, that a publisher needed not wait to finish the book to be baptized, and that the appendix was of optional study.
can you help me find such quotes in english please?

The "Truth ..." book, a.k.a. 'The blue bomb' (1968) came before the "You Can Live Forever ..." (1982) book. After this came "Knowledge ..." (1995) as the main study book. Not sure "True Peace ..." was ever a second study book. It was for sure studied in the Congregation Book Study meeting back in the day, though.

This is What I Would Need in Order to Believe
by cofty insometimes theists challenge atheists about what evidence would be required before they would believe.
various unlikely scenarios are offered in reply.
i have taken the bait myself in the past.. i think the correct answer is much more ordinary.

In my view, a god that doesn't clearly, universally and unequivocally reveals himself to the creatures he requests worship from, isn't worth wasting time with.
If a god is something "that than which nothing greater can be thought", then god should be the epitome of clarity, transparency and uncontroversial truth. None of the above applies to the purported god of christianity.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I skimmed through my "United in True Worship" and "Worship the Only True God" books, and, as far as I could see, there is no indication in these books whatsoever informing the bible student that the official policy of the Watchtower to treat disfellowshipped / disassociated ones is shunning.
I also think that the primary study books "You Can Live Forever In A Paradise on Earth", "Knowledge That Leads To Everlasting Life", "What The Bible Really Teaches" don't mention it either. Am I correct in that conclusion?

Can you help me find such quotes in english please? Much appreciated. Even better, if someone has a PICTURE of such articles, it would be gold! Thank you.
Also - After the blue book "United in True Worship" and before the book "Keep Yourselves in God's Love", was there another second book with advanced doctrine that was required that Bible students studied as they neared baptism? I think there was, but can't remember which? And before "United ... " was there such book?
Was it "Worship the Only True God" ?

Part of Growing Up - Saying Goodbye to Invisible Friends?
by doubtfull1799 ini don’t remember having any invisible friends when i was a really little boy, i don’t know if such a thing actually exists, i’ve only ever seen it in movies?
of course it might have looked to others like i was talking to someone on occasions, but i’m sure it would have just been me talking to myself.
the thing is though, i got introduced to an invisible friend in my pre-teens, and i kept the relationship going well into adulthood.

Well said ...
When a prayer is seemingly "answered" in a positive way, it is really just a case of confirmation bias.

I wrote to Mr. Angus Stewart regarding the "inactive" status claims made by the Watchtower at the ARC
by EdenOne inthis is the email i have just sent to mr. stewart angus, who has been conducting the questioning of the jw leaders during the australian royal commission dealing with child abuse cases among the jehovah's witnesses, concerning the claims made that a jehovah witness who wishes to walk away from the organization can simply become inactive and avoid being shunned:.
dear mr. angus stewart,
i have followed with interest the videos of the arc regarding the jehovah's witnesses in australia.

I have received a reply from the Australian Royal Commission, signed by its CEO, Mr. Philip Reed, on behalf of Mr. Angus Stewart, thanking me for my letters, and informing that it has been "passed to the appropriate officers within the Royal Commission for their consideration."
They are listening.

I wrote to Mr. Angus Stewart regarding the "bible-based two witness rule" claims made by the Watchtower at the ARC
by EdenOne inbesides the email message to mr. angus stewart that i have posted on the other thread, i have send him the following email regarding the two-witness rule and the claims it can't be changed because it's "bible-based":.
"dear mr. angus steward,.
i would like to draw your attention to another aspect of the arguments presented by the leadership of the jehovah's witness, in this case regarding the "two witness rule" and the duty to report to secular authorities.

My letter to the Australian Royal Commission regarding case study #29 Jehovah's Witnesses
by EdenOne insomeone suggested i would address a letter not only to mr. angus stewart, but also to the royal commission as well.
it merges the two subjects on the same letter (inactive status and shunning; two witness rule), and adds some things more that what i said to mr. stewart.
it's a bit long, please bear with me.. --------------------------------------- .
