  After leaving the JWs - Has anyone stayed with Christianity?

  i recently made the decision to stop studying with my study conductor, due to a situation i found myself in that led to a high possibility of my unbaptized publisher "rights" being taken away from me.

  i have since told my study conductor i have joined a new church (to which she dropped me like a hot rock, of course).... last time i posted on here, i was progressing nicely towards baptism, and was well into it.anyhoo, i like my new church, very hillsong-esqe.

  so just wondering if anyone else has stayed the course of christianity after leaving the jws, and if so - where did you go?

  Agnostic and Apatheist. I came to the conclusion that Christianity is largely based on myth and therefore nothing more than just another (poorly thought-through ) philosophy.

  I came to think that the whole notion of a personal God is a delusion. Could there be a god (or deities) in some other shape or form? I don't know, and possibly if there is, it's not relevant to my life anyway.

  No it's not a mistake. It's actually "extinction"; and I had to use that term because it's the term used in the Portuguese Civil Code for the forceful termination of a legal entity.

  watchtower article often introduce a point that has no merit with words such a "undeniably.".

  for instance the watchtower 2014 august 15 page 10 says:.

  "jehovah undeniably blesses the preaching work of christian women and supports them in times of trial.

  When I said “Bethel” I meant the local branch, not the HQ. Those in NY couldn’t care less and wouldn’t think twice in throwing the local Branch Committee under the bus.
