  All ex JWs would treat TOMO3 like a proper celebrity if he did another Ray Franz I would donate as would many many people and if he wanted to go a speaking circuit perhaps someone like Kim Silvio could organise and I’m sure we could all donate

  No, I wouldn't.

  I might buy a tell-all book — maybe. I don't like the man, I don't think he's a redeemable person in the eyes of the ex-JW community. He's so full of himself that it hurts the senses. When I think of the shunning policy, it's his face I see.

  To me, all information so far pieced together, sounds like he was subjected to a Judicial Committee and reproofed, lost privileges, which included being booted from the GB, but not from Bethel. In the spirit of how the JWs interpret 2 Thessalonians 3:15, this fits.

  Now, to subject a senior member of a GB to a JC may be seen as part of a purge, of course. It may well be the case of younger softliners getting rid of the embarrassing hardline oldtimers. Tony Morris' drinking habits may have been the perfect excuse. Who needs another judge Rutherford these days?

  Ray's announcement had him as his nme whilst ATM3 is still called "Brother" and nothing about him not being a bethel family member.

  Also, it's worth noting that, since its inception in 1977, only 3 members of the Governing Body were deleted, rather than deceased, and all of them for disciplinary reasons:

  Edward Chitty (Resigned from the GB in 1979, Homosexualism)

  Leo Greenlees (Resigned from the GB in 1984, Homosexualism and Child Molestation)

  Raymond Franz (Resigned in 1979, Apostasy).

  I wonder, and this is lil ole me speculating ...

  If Tony Morris was the main mentor of the disastrous worldwide legal strategy that kept WT in denial of CSA and now it has really blown in their hands with the Pennsylvania investigation ... perhaps the "softliners" in the GB forced him out?
