Thank you for posting this SRS.
It's interesting to see it through the eyes of someone who's seeing it for the first time.
i am not jw, and never intend to be one either.
however, having read a lot about the july 15 wt, i decided to go to the kh today and check out how the new light was going to be delivered.
i thought i would share my observations;.

?.
Ask your Mom if a Catholic starts to feel unmotivated in his Catholicism, would she think the same way. Would she think he was being influenced by demons...
remember, you read it here first!.
dear brothers: .
we are pleased to announce that arrangements are being made for all baptized and unbaptized publishers who read and write english, along with their minor children, to be invited to locations where they can hear the 2013 annual meeting program that will be presented on saturday, .
What's with inviting a selected, chosen few?
More judging, nanana I'm better than you-uuu ....
we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.
fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.
i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.
Hi Mr (and Mrs) Smith
i just caught up on your journal. Wow, it's been quite a year for you. I hope you both have a wonderful time in your new location and all goes well for you. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences, it's particularly enlightening to hear from previous elders here who, like you, can enlighten us on what goes on in JC's and elders meetings.
Thanks again.
saw two separate kiosk setups today that had the awake displayed with the cover story being "pornography, is it toxic or .
.
(the other word i can't remember).. i was in a hurry today so really didn't have time to stop and talk and ask the brother exactly how much research did the society do for this article, to which he would probably say true chrtistians don't watch porn, to which i would've asked then since you jws claim you don't lie then someone must've watched some porn films so they know what they're talking about and have their facts straight, or is the article just speculation..
Uh. Let me guess the answer ...
Yes?
i have been threatening to publish a book about growing up in the jw religion, then leaving as a mature adult.
well, it's 368 pages and it's done!.
introduction to the book.
Congratulations on you book satinka!
Yes a Kindle version would be great. I resonated with what you said about, if you asked your family / husband, they wouldn't have thought they were being abusive. So true, their thinking gets all turned and twisted, they don't know which way is up.
this morning i get a frantic call from my sister (who has been baptized 1 year and one month and never attends meetings anymore).
in tears she tells me that this morning my father picked her up in the car and told her that i was am apostate.
that i no longer loved jehovah and that i was going to be disfellowshipped.
CCA so sad to hear of your brothers betrayal and the Watchtower's too. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you have an absolutely wonderful life - starting today.
i visited my sister in a small town in the midst of the country, the town has a population of 3,000 and there's about 70 in the cong.
anyway, there was a local needs talk a few months ago about associating with family members who didn't live under your roof and no longer went to meetings.
one family of an elder dad and three sons (one an elder too, the others have stopped going) and a daughter (still going but married a 'worldly') are quite prominent and one half of a typical congregational feud.
nonjwspouse - thanks for the reminder, yes I do believe everyone should have the right to say what goes on under their own roof.

Truth_b_known, if it's any consolation, I've heard of this happening to others too.
Also, I've heard of JW parents not letting children who were living with someone else without being married, not stay overnight when they come to visit.
Before I found JWN, I thought maybe it was just the parents being unreasonable ... it's great to know the real reason(s).
