Yeah My mom has done this countless times. She would gather together anything that was given to her by a worldly person or anything that was given to her by work etc... the newer JDubs are not hip to this kind of thinking. Your MOM is pre-90's witness isnt she.

Alternately tell her that if there is an item and she cant find it and she cant pray it away that she gets into the new system because it wont be her fault

LOL! Actually that might have some legs to it, as it sounds like a great marketing urban legend to support the idea of hiring only JW brothers working in the trades (electricians, plumbers, drywall, etc) to do all the constuction repair work of JWs homes to prevent that sort of thing.

Tell your mom that she received for sure something from demons: it's called Watchtower mags, Bibles and Study books from the Watchtower Society. How evil can you get?

PS: My mom is the same. Even throwing away good clothes etc. that someone gave us (not dubs). Crazy witnesses.

Have you heard the rumor that a lontime Bethelite had to be removed from the property as the housekeepers discovered Satanic ritual paraphanalia hidden in his closet. As he was being escorted by 4 large bethelites, it took 4 as he seemed to have some superhuman strength, he started to laugh and cackle wildly all the way out saying "If you only knew, if you only knew,..."

When the bethelite that was replacing the Satanist was being formerly taught how to do his former bosses job, he asked about the "extra" ingredient that he always saw his boss mix into the ink before printing the magazines and books etc, He said he had been doing this for years and never really asked what it was. The instrcutor did not know what he was talking about and they went over to his locker and pulled out a vile from the backcorner that was found to contain Human Blood!!

The kicked out betelite had been adding the blood of a sacrificed child to the ink being used in pretty much all the printing that was being done at bethel and that he had been seeing him do this for YEARS.

Did you ever hear of this rumor? No, me neither cause I just made it up. lol

Might wack out some Jws as they would want to get all the mags out of their house and also out of the book studys houses.
