i got a weird call from a work mate last night.
she's going through hell for the past year or so with her soon-to-be ex, who had been carrying on an affair and stopped sharing their family expenses.
long story short, he's out of the house now and has left her and their kids out in the country without any transportation.
I've done some stuff that I won't mention here but never told a soul let alone asked for help (it just multiplies the cock-up factor).
Things of that sort are best done alone, sober and well planed. My worry would be that it would outrage the man and escalate her problems many fold (men are often more fond of their cars than their women). Sort it out legally I'd say.

i recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.
i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.
i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.
With the threat of terrorism, I know the government won't defend us as individuals but as a colective body of people leaving the individuals to fend for themselves. Well I for one will, I have fought in Vietnam, defended myself on numerous occasions and will do so again if needed.
Terrorism eh? So when an Arab flies a 747 into your house you'll shoot the bugger. Good plan. The fact that Americans mistrust their own government and think terrorists might target individuals is a real worry. An even bigger worry is the culture of gun ownership .. no wonder Texans are so polite.

that expression makes me want to barf.
Husbandly owner and wifely due are just expressions created to suppress women. They have been used since Paul's day to keep women in a subservient role.
It's pathetic and silly and still a common way of suppressing the female gender. As a witness I never bought it or came across many women who accepted it. I'm ashamed to have had any association with the misogynist pricks that designed and promoted such loaded oppressive language.
