WHY I'M BECOMING A MUSLIM!
by Dansk ini came across an interesting site the other day and below is an extract from one of its web pages (does anyone know if the following is actually true as i've never read the quran?).
no wonder so many muslim men wear baggy trousers, it's to hide the erection they get when they look heavenwards!.
what i don't understand is what's in it for the women?

I have a question of a 'technical variety'.
How do the women STAY virgin if they're having all this sex?
Same way Mary did after having all those babies

All sex in dangerous and sinful
by Norm infor the umpteenth time the watchtower society has published an article about sex.. this time i am referring to some material they have seen fit to publish on their website:whats wrong with premarital sex?.
http://www.watchtower.org/library/g/2004/7/22a/article_01.htm.
as we know god is extremely preoccupied with sex.

Put on your jammies, turn out ALL the lights, get on yer knees and say a prayer to Jehoober, then climb into bed and only move or remove such nightclothes as may be necessary to carry out the act in God's only officially approved sexual position.

Being raised with five sisters the thought of spending eternity with a group of inexperienced women doesn't do much for me
It looks suspiciously like an advertising program to attract young males who think with their koran ..
mmm ..now if they promised barbara eden ...

Yep I bought Lottery tickets on purpose
I drank underage but not on purpose (hey we drank at home and I forgot I needed to be 18
I broke all speed limits driving cars, motorbikes, ski boats and even got pulled over for speeding on a bicycle and running home from a meeting (apparently cops don't often see a guy jogging in a suit
I witnessed in "black only" areas in port Moresby
I helped smuggle 'truth' books across the PNG border to Indonesia (caesar be buggered
I spoke to a couple of girls but never married them
I stole a police car and drove it around without permission
I made a trap to catch the person stealing mum's strawberries and caught mum waist deep in mud I always started at the door with "g'day, I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses" (followed by a pause where I hoped they'd say "not interested"
I put an Australian flag bumper sticker on my pioneer partners car
I door knocked the "DO NOT CALL" list for kicks
I told an Elder to "get fucked!" (same guy later prevented me becoming an elder lol)

Who Pioneered?
by sass_my_frass inmy two sisters did the right thing, pioneering straight out of school, janitoring to pay for the petrol (one didn't even bother with her final year of school).
it was this kind of fine example that got me guilt-tripped into auxiliary pioneering just after getting baptised at age 20. i only lasted six months; i took a holiday in queensland and returned not knowing much more about life but at least that it's bigger than my little congregation.
i despised the field service, i dreaded the daily schedule and every morning i was on my way out there was this awful countdown from the alarm going off to the first door opening, knowing that it's just a big setup to another depressing humiliation.

From the age of 10 I spent all my school holidays on suburban and rural field service with Special Pioneers and Missionries (Merideth White, Glen Moses, Andrew Clarkson, Doug Crago...).
At 15 I left school to regular pioneer Adelaide and the outback and a short stint in Papua/New Guinea (1972 - '75).
It was an interesting time bicycle 'witnessing' to inner city hippies, pros, nurses, priests, businessmen and sailors on the ships visiting Port Adelaide.

Has anyone ever asked you to help them do something illegal?
by Scully ini got a weird call from a work mate last night.
she's going through hell for the past year or so with her soon-to-be ex, who had been carrying on an affair and stopped sharing their family expenses.
long story short, he's out of the house now and has left her and their kids out in the country without any transportation.

For an acquaintance, not worth it! For a friend, go for it! Drive past the house normal speed go 2/10ths of a mile and let her out! No one sees you know one even knows your there!
Then what? He reports it to the cops .. thinks "hang on .. I wonder if that woman took it?" ... goes off to "sort the bitch out" ... go legal I say. If possible have the cops fetch it (that's what they're paid for

*** g76 4/22 "Ham" Radio—A Hobby That Can Help Others ***
Among the many "ham" radio networks world wide, there are now nearly 600 Jehovah’s Witnesses in over 30 countries and islands who regularly rendezvous to talk, exchange experiences and relay messages to other countries. The accompanying chart shows scheduled times and frequencies most often used by this "JW rendezvous" group.
Thus, when used in a balanced way so that it does not interfere with other obligations, amateur radio can indeed be a rewarding hobby that brings both pleasure and knowledge. Furthermore, it can be a real source of help in emergencies and to those who wish to talk with loved ones in faraway places.—Contributed.

G'day honesty,
Is this a current list?
The Australian Branch Overseer, Don McLean, was a ham radio buff with a JW network. He had a big ham aerial erected at Sydney Bethel. I know it was still operational in 2002 but I was recently told it had been replaced by text messaging but perhaps old habits die hard.
