2006 SERVICE REPORT - Feb 1, 2007 WT
by Mary ini'm not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but here are the figures for the 2006 service report.
i highlighted the countries that have either a "0" or negative growth in yellow and i highlighted key countries where the you would expect more growth......i tried looking for england's stats, but i couldn't see it.
i looked under "england" and "united kingdom" but i can't see it.

Hi Mary,
It's interesting that your dad flipped out. These are very serious allegations and it's hard to imagine any father watching and listening to those two girls without getting worked up (poor bastards brain musta switched into denial mode). Apart from the disgust at the thought of the perpetators getting away with their crimes, I'm sickened by the Watchtower Lawyers and the spin they put on it, knowing full well what they're saying is an outright lie. Even sicker is the fact that this child abuse is being covered up for the sake of protecting the Society's assetts.

Unclebruce - Freedom! Yes, I forgot we can do absolutely anything now. It makes me smile everytime I buy a lottery ticket. Sounds daft, but I even buy them in the main supermarket in town not caring if any JW is about. I used to dare myself to do it and now, I couldn't give a flying fart!
Dreams and Freedom are the two most important things an ex JW can give their children, and gift themselves.
The average JW child is also incredibly superstitious and afraid of everything.
Thinking of the same young JW relative mentioned earlier, he told my older two children that he wanted a skateboard, but the one he wanted had a bull with a ring through its nose. He 'felt' he couldn't buy that because the ring through the bulls nose, he had been informed by his parents, might be symbolic of something Satanic and might influence other people to behave badly!
Who thinks in such a warped fashion????? No one in their right minds! Only a JW child could come up with such nonsense.
Isn't that also a form of abuse, instilling stupid, nonsensical fears into a child.
Sadly enough, we were invited to same JW relatives barbecue this summer. This young boy, 13 now, was constantly back for wine and beer and could have drank most of the adults under the table without a second thought. I have 3 boys from 14 to 21. The 14 year olds drank juice, even though we offered them beer if they were interested and the twenty one year old had one beer. The JW relative had 6 glasses of wine and 4 beers in the space of 3 hours.
His parents feel they cannot relax in the evenings without a bottle of wine between them, as they are so stressed and the same is true for other JW relatives who feel alcohol is their only release from their very stress filled life!
The stress of JW land on Children, and adults is oppressive and harmful. Children are brought up without a moment to relax and forget the WTBTS!
The Stress of that is incredibly abusive to a growing mind and body.
LOL .. when I was about 12 my neighbourhood mates and I made a soapbox go-cart. Scott said we should paint a Maltese cross on the back of the seat. So we did. When my dad saw it he nearly had a fit. Dad: That's a Nazi symbol! Me: No dad it's a maltese cross. Dad: It's from Babylon the Great .. we don't believe in the cross. Me: But we copied it from a picture of the Red Baron's plane. Dad: "I knew it was German!" So I took it off in case the neighbours thought something bad about the craziest people in the street

I forgot, that I was a great artist at school, always praised with 'Outstanding' marks in High School.
I wanted to do Art at Senior school but my parents wouldn't let me, and forced me to take Needlework, as I would need to be able to sew after Armageddon to make clothes for all those resurrected ones!
My Art teacher took me aside and asked why the hell I was taking Needlework and not Art, and I simply explained that my parents wouldn't let me. He nearly had a hissy fit. But I remember the last thing he ever told me and I still appreciate it now: 'What if Picasso had done Needlework instead of Art? What would we have done without him?!' It still gives me a sense of appreciation now.
But three of my kids are brilliant artists. One even got a place at Uni in Art school but we were to poor to pay up and she did other things instead, but I've promised her as our finances have improved recently that if any of them ever want to go to Uni we will pay. She was a brilliant mathematician as well as are the other two artists.
These kids have had hopes for their future put in front of them now instead of taken away. There's a sparkle and excitement in their eyes. There's not many JW kids that I've met who have that sparkle and zing for the future.
Ordinary parents have the chance to give their children the gift of hopes and dreams, even if they have to struggle to make those hopes and dreams come true. But JW parents even have the opportunity of giving dreams to their children taken away from them. Instead they offer a fear inspiring future of death and destruction to come, and everlasting life under and evil, megalomanial, psycopathic God. That also is abuse.
But aren't you now one bad demonised aposta parent "with no natural affection" for your children? lol .. What a sick joke that religion is, reflecting the family values of Russell, Rutherford, Franz and co. There are few things better in life than seeing our children grow into happy well adjusted adults. so Gill, have you persued your artistic side now? If so get thee to an arts thread
