Well, I'm up there near the top but am still going strong. Lately though I can feel the years catching up on me. They sure have flown by fast. I think my brain is going senile faster than my body.

Does Jehovah Listen To Worldly Prayers?

when you was a jw, did you think jehovah ever listened to the prayers of the worldly?
aside from those "experiences" of people praying for the true religion only to have a couple out in service knock on their door seconds later, did you believe jehovah listen to other non-jw prayers?.

Sure He does, he just ignores them all. Of course it's the same with all others too unless it has something to do with his name, then he just comes down and kills a bunch of stupid humans.

I didn't have a TV until I was married for a while. I can remember really enjoying a night when I had some time off to watch TV and not be tied up with some

cancer again
by Mulan inmany of you know that my cousin and best friend, sharon, died in september 2001 at age 59, after a 3 year battle with breast cancer.. now, another of our cousins (she is 56, the same age sharon was at her diagnosis) has breast cancer on both sides.
she had surgery a week ago, and just learned she has to have more.
it's still good news.

My mom died with cancer that started in her breast but spread all over her body. She had one brother that died of cancer but the other 11 of her brothers and sisters haven't had cancer. None of my dad's family had cancer.
I hope for the best for your family.

Local Kingdom Hall has windows
by Junction-Guy inthe local kingdom hall remodeled back in the summer, but for some reason i never noticed this until the other day as i was driving up the interstate.
this kingdom hall now has windows.
the windows appear to be about 10 inches wide by 6 feet.

What or Who do JW's believe is Gog/Magog?
by booker-t inwhen i was a young kid in the 70's and we studied the "nation shall know that i am jehovah" book it really scared me especially the part of gog/magog.
they way the elders would constantly tell us that we did not love jehovah enough and we should do this and do that.
i remember one time the bookstudy conductor told my bookstudy group that "if you all don't want to be part of gog/magog you should pioneer".

I think my nephew will survive. They removed his spleen and he seems to be stable now. He has a few broken bones. His girlfriend's son was in the car but didn't have any injuries except bruises. She has some broken bones also. I think they will all survive.
I hope all this disaster doesn't kill my wife. She is under so much stress right now. Maybe by next month things will get better and she can relax and get a good nights sleep.
