The WatchTower is God's Word
by Yerusalyim insitting thru the watchtower study yesterday with my stepson, i noticed something i'd missed while reading the study article myself a few days ago.. without having a wt present i'll quote as best i can and hope someone can find me a direct quote.
in the third study article the society quotes deuteronomy 6:4-9 which says in part, and these words which i command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sin in your house, and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise.

Appealing to the heart w/JWs
by Introspection init seems to me that a head on discussion about how the doctrines may not make sense wouldn't always work, in fact it would seem that it's an exceptional jw who sits down logically and concludes "hmm, yes i see my beliefs were incorrect, therefore i will change them today.
thank you for that very informative information.
" while it may sound trite, i think the key is to appeal to people's hearts.. i guess this often happens spontaneously and can't be planned, after all it depends on the state of mind of both parties involved.

Wondering whether or not to join the Air Force
by Patrick_Ryan ini'm new here and i have some questions about joining the air force or not.
i'm 21 years old, i was raised as a jehovah's witness but stopped going when i was 13 because i was a kid and thought it was boring (like school).
even after i quit going i still done things that were right or i tried to still live by what i was taught and i'm greatful that i was raised that way because it kept me out of a lot of trouble and made me who i am today.
