  i have been meeting with member's of the kingdom hall, and i have attended a few times now on sundays.

  i'd like to discuss experiences with this group since i'm new.

  so far, i love it.

  Even if you don't get baptized, they will use you to count their hours. Like they are doing now. There are no real friendships in that religion. It's all conditional, as long as you tow the line and let them use you.

  Never follow another man's interpretation of the, oops their bible. Yes, they have rewritten their bibles many times to suite their constantly changing (they call it new light every time they change their doctrine) doctrines. They will even put you in their assembly parts to make your head swell and make you feel like your going someplace important in the religion. They promote jealousy and competition amongst its members with labels like pioneers. Where is seventy hours (full time pioneer) and fifty hours(auxilliary pioneer) in the bible. It says to do your best and that's it!

  My very first pioneer meeting started off with a question; Do you know why all of you are here? It's because your more spiritual than the ones that are not here. By brother Pinter. Can you imagine if that first sister had the same experience as we did and now she is told she can't pioneer. She'll think once she stops pioneering that she will be less spiritual.

  after my exit from the watchtower shunning cult, i have received tons of invitations from different churches.

  but because i am aware of religious cults, i need recommendations of churches that are not cults at all.

  after exiting the watchtower cult, i don't want to fall into another religious cults.

  Recent study links processed meats to cancer

  so a recent study says processed meats are just as dangerous as cigarettes when it comes to cancer.

  the wtbs has had a long time stance that smoking is a df offense.

  my question is if there's proof beyond doubt, why doesn't the wtbs make eating processed meats a df offense?.

  After walking through a few of bethel's warehouses just crammed with skids and skids up to the ceilings with Hershey's chocolates and candies, I'll take my chances on the processed meats rather than pure sugar.

  When we use to deliver our product of processed meats to them, they didn't mind paying a pretty penny for other companies crappy bacon and breakfast sausage. If going broke doesn't kill them then I hope the processed meats do!!!!! But just the higher ups of course.

  helen keeler (1880 to 1968) was a wolf in sheep's clothing, no hero.

  The "mis-truths" said by brothers during the Royal Commission.

  my sister said she heard several "mis truths" or dare we say, "lies" said by the brothers on the stand during the royal commission.. 1) vin toole lied when asked about the expression "theocratic warfare".

  he said he was unaware of the term.

  2) terry obrien lied when asked whether witnesses are free to research the organisation or free to leave without any negative consequences.. 3) geoff jackson lied when he said that the organisation doesn't run a 'police state' and doesn't criticise those who want to leave.

  Punkofnice,

  I wrote a sister all the bad on her governing body and what had transpired with Royal Commission , sent her the taped recordings, gave her my over view of it all and she wrote back and said she still believes this is god organisation and yes there are deceiving men in it but she still believes she is serving god the way he should be served.

  It would have been better for me to just delete her email!
