Plus if any jw had any brains in their heads they would read the scriptures where they describe what an apostate is. Someone who denies the Christ and all his teachings. We didn't do that. We denied the false teachings and doctrines of the jw org.

Just another gimic to show they are up with the black lives matter movement. They go with whatever is the main attraction at the moment. Just like they did when the blacks couldn't sit with the whites. They went along with that at that moment in time. NVR2L8 I still see nothing in the message box. There was also a Russel Reed in Kitchener, On who was the coordinator for his hall. Tall skinny around seventy or older now. He was the one that stated at our pioneer class that the reason why we are there as pioneers is because the others that aren't there are not very spiritual. That was his opening line to his talk and it shook up a few of us. He was an arrogant ass!
The book that was given to us was written by a Russel Reed as well but not the same person. Sorry I didn't reply earlier but I did ask Simon to see if he could fix the problem.

We know of an elderly couple right now that have gone back to their mennonite church and never got df'd by the elders in Elmira. The couple told the elders as well as five other people that they were attending another church and nothing was done.
The couple had gotten an elders visit twice by two elders and then an ms dropped by and told them that if they wanted association that they would have to come to the meetings. Then the covid happened and the couple hasn't heard from anyone since March.
It's up to the elders as to what they will do to inactive ones as well as df'd ones. This couple never missed a meeting or a hallbuild. They have lots of money which he was putting donations in the box up until the last two years and he said never again. They were the ones that had shown up on our doorstep in the dead of winter in the dark to let us know they would still talk to us. That they never believed in the shunning. They think it's disgraceful and they also had lent us a book by a Russell Reed who is apostate according to the jw rules. We gave them the Crisis of Conscience book to read as well and he read it twice over. That's when he finally made the break.
If you're not going to your meetings and the elders can't get anything on you then they have a marking talk. At least that's what they did with us.
We call each other every other week to see how the other one is doing. We will never forget their kindness that's for sure

Our friend's wife is on zoom until 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Her hall has a social hour after the meeting is over but not many stick around. All the while her poor husband sits in his garage in this heat. It makes him sick to think what she got herself involved in.

Been on the brink of death once so if I can prevent it I will. I wear my mask, wash my hands, hand sanitizers in the vehicles and social distance. We live on a hundred and twenty acres of bush, have a shop/business and tons of wild life out here. Live seven minutes away from a lake if we want to go fishing and we also have a river going through on the back of our property. Go into town only for groceries and doctors appointments. I don't miss people at all

sure, blacks are being mistreated by law enforcement at times, but there are hundreds of millions of people on a daily basis having no regard for the elderly by not wearing masks in the middle of a pandemic.
they believe the elderly have to be casualties for the economy and getting normalcy back.

And what about the mentally challenged or physically disabled which my sister is both and who is in a long term home? They too contribute to society and don't get paid for it. It's all volunteer. But hey she gets a bed, three meals a day and a roof over her head. No one has ever actually sat down with her and tried to just talk to her and tell her how nice she is. Nothing. Just tucked away in a home and comes out to do her work when called on.
Her job was ripping up government documents at an abandoned army barracks. They used these kids that can't read or write and would sit part of the day shredding paper. That all stopped when it was found out that the barracks were contaminated with asbestos. There are many whose lives matter not just the blacks!!! So frigging tired of hearing about BLMBS!
This last two months my sister had to be tested for covid three times now. I went in raising hell and wrote to our premier about no masks in her home for her or the workers. He wrote back a week later asking for the address and now everyone in her home are wearing their masks.

Memories of Grace Gough
by Mary inhi everyone;i'm not on here too much anymore, but i've been asked to write a brief biography of our dear grace gough ('mouthy' on here).
i'm writing my own memories of her but it was also suggested that i maybe contact others who knew her to see if they had a nice memory or two of her they'd like to share.
it would only have to be a paragraph or two and your name can be kept confidential if you like.

Grace had lived about ten minutes from us. She was in Fergus Ontario and we were in Alma Ontario. Once we were being stalked to be df'd it was Grace through this site we had found her. She loved her children, even the one that is still in the org and who won't have anything to do with her. She spoke often about her grandchildren and the daughter that had passed away while she was alive. She was quite a woman.
While she was still a jw many many years ago in Kitchener, Ontario she tried to get me back in and then forty years later I meet her in Fergus and remembered her. She apologized for trying to get me back in and I told her we were on our way out for the second and final last time. I just wanted to see my family but that never really happened.
I had told her how someone had put a huge spike nail in the side of our truck tires and we figured it was one of the elders kids in Fergus hall since it was him and his dad who were stalking us every day. They would ride past our place on roller blades. We lived out in the country side and those two idiots would park their truck at the end of our road and roller blade to our house. We caught them at the end of our lane standing like a couple of idiots on our gravel driveway. I remember Grace telling us that she had her tires slashed as well and she figured it was someone from the Fergus hall as well. I wish I could tell her that now the father idiot was taken off as elder and marked and his son got df'd recently. If I know Grace she would be the first to welcome them to her home and to make sure they were going to be all right. It was the idiot elder's wife who would call on Grace's daughter (or grand daughter) who was a I think a minister and leave her with magazines but yet wouldn't do the same with Grace because she was an apostate.Joanne Mitchel knew the daughter went to another church and was Grace's daughter but would never do service unless she could count on sitting at a restaurant or in someone's house that was already a witness. Grace had no use for John Mitchell, Joanne or their screwed up kid Curtis Mitchell.
Grace told me one time that Roger Ladoucer who an elder called on her and asked her what would it take for her to come back. She told him to change the dfing policy as well as how women should be elders and he just laughed and said that would never happen. Roger once said to another elder who said to me that he will step over anyone to get to the top. This religion is so full of people who are so full of themselves.
So glad we're out. Grace had spent the rest of her life after leaving the org going on talk shows, newspapers, libraries and removing any books or mags that were put on sale. She would buy the trash books back from the libraries if it meant someone not getting them and becoming a jw.
Some people after they leave the org make it their life mission to try and destroy it but with Grace she still loved her life and her friends and family. She didn't really let it consume her the way some have done in the past. Near the end she was ready to move on and just die in peace. We enjoyed our visits with Grace. It was Grace that had an old copy of Crisis of Conscience and gave the book to us to read. That book today right now is being read by another inactive jw who is trying to get his brother out so he stays inactive until his family are all out. I can just see Grace now saying you have done good!!! We miss you Grace. xx
